BHVR have FINALLY given Myers a much needed buff after 8 years of him being in Dead by Daylight. Unfortunately, not much has changed and he’s still a fairly weak Killer.

  1. Pallet break speed +40%, Vault +5% and lunge +10% on tier 3. That alone would put him in the middle branch.
    You could even reduce his tier 3 duration with these buffs, so you get to stalk from afar again more ofter and feel really dangerous on tier 3.

  2. If you want him to be better let him switch to and from T2 – T1, break pallets and walls faster in T3 and reduce or remove the movement penalty when cleaning his knife after hitting a survivor in T3. Use T1 – T2 to setup ambushes and stalk, T3 to be a chase demon. He'll be B tier minimum.

  3. As a Shape main, I love the changes honestly. I like that they didn't change him much aside from small buffs to his base kit and some add-ons and slight nerfs to his most broken add-ons. I was worried they were gonna just straight up neuter him or something, cause this is BHVR we are talking about lol. I will take anything after so many years.

  4. He should be able to go back into tier one and whenever he’s stalking, he goes undetectable, but he’s unable to move or turn. And survivors should gain back stalk when healing and doing gens

  5. not to impressed. the buffs are to small so the nerf to up close speed will balance it out to not be that different. the good add ons are going to be useless now and take to long to get going.

  6. You know, I honestly hope Myers stays the same. Buffed, yes, but not reworked. If they reworked Myers today, he'd have some generic midrange zoning lunge or maybe throw a pumpkin at midrange lol. As he currently is, he's thematically perfect.

  7. That’s the reason why i was afraid of them removing Tombstone, bc now he’s useless again…… they should‘ve made it(in my opinion):
    -Myers loses Terror Radius when stalking in Tier 1(this also helps the far alway stalk ig)
    -After stalking a survivor so long that they can’t be stalked, he gains +10% haste for 11s
    -In Tier 2 Terror Radius is only 10m and he breaks pallets/doors and kicks generators 25% faster
    -In Tier 3 his default time to break Pallets/Doors and kicks generators is 1s, his Terror Radius is 40m and after vaulting a window he gains 3% haste for 3s.

    In my humble opinion that would’ve been a perfect kit improvement for one of if not the most iconic Horror Character

  9. I´m a Myers main and I hoped for somthing more for the Tier 3, yeah this Buffs are very good QOL Buffs but it´s not what I really hoped for. The Stalking over Distance feels even more like in the Movies now but is really Hard to play with and its sometimes feels like a massiv buff and ohter times like a Massiv Nerf.

    Somthink that I would like would be like that (Including the Buffs from the PTB):

    Nerf: Myers needs now 12 Stalk point to get from Tier 2 to Tier 3 (Was 10 Stalk points)
    Nerf: When Losing a Surv in a Chase while Myers is in Tier 3 makes Tier go 10 Seconds faster Ende

    Change: Myers Terroradius in Tier 3 is 40M (Was 32m)

    Buff: The Breathing from Myers in Tier 1 is 8m (Was 18m)
    Buff: Survs can´t read Myers Aura while he is in Tier 2
    Buff: Tier 3 is now 70 Seconds long (was 60)
    Buff: In Tier 3 Myers can Break Pallets, Gens and Breakebil Walls 15% Faster
    Buff: While Myers is Charring a Survivor in Tier 3, the Timer for Tier 3 is Stoped
    Buff: When Myers Downs a Survivor, Tier 3 gets 7 Seconds longer
    Buff: When Myers gets into a Chase with a Surv while he is in Tier 3, Tier 3 gets 13 Seconds longer
    Buff: At the start of the Trail, Myers gets Killer Instinct on the Obsetion for 7 Seconds
    Buff: When Entering Tier 3, Myers gets Killer Instinct on all Survs for 7 Seconds
    Buff: Myers Power Icon glows if a Surv is looking at him
    Buff: While a Surv is looking at Myers and Myers Stalks this Surv at the same time, Myers gets 30% Faster Stalk (Dosen´t Work in Chase)

    Buff: When Myers gains Tier 3 Time that goes over his max time (So if he hase 65 Seconds of Tier 3 left and enters a Chase so he gains +13 Seconds) Myers gets the time as "Evil incarnate"
    While Myers is in Evil incarnate, his Launge is 30% Bigger than that from Tier 3, he Vaults 10% faster than Normal Tier 3, he Destroys Pallets 10% faster than Normal Tier3 and he gains 4% Hast.
    Evil incarnate Ends when he hits the Normal Tier 3 duration time (70 Seconds base)

    And now somthing that I just find fun but idk how Balanced it would be with all this Buffs

    New: Fear of the Boogieman

    Survivors have now Fear Levels and Fear points.

    Having 0–3 Fear Points = Fear Level 1
    Having 4–7 Fear Points = Fear Level 2
    Having 8–11 Fear Points = Fear Level 3
    Having 12–15 Fear Points = Fear Level 4
    Having 16–17 Fear Points = Fear Level 5

    Survivors gain Fear Points by Looking at Myers outside of Chase (8 Seconds = 1 Fear Point),
    Entering Chase with Myers (2 Fear Points),
    getting Downd (3 Fear Points)
    a ohter Surv gets Hooked (1 Fear Point),
    Someone on the Gen that your Working on Missing a Skill Check (2 Fear Points)
    Making a loud Nois outside of Chase (Besides your own Perks) (1 Fear Point)
    beging in Myers Terroradius (1 Fear Point every 30 Seconds) (Don´t Count in chase)
    begin alone (No ohter Surv in a 14m Radius (Not on Multipile Flores)) (Full 1.30 Minuts = 1 Fear Point)
    Myers entering Tier 3 (1 Fear Point)
    A Surv gets found in a Locker (1 Fear Point for this Surv)

    Survs can lose Fear Points when they are toghter (A Teammate needs to be in 14m for 30 Seconds not including Miltiple Floors) (1 Fear Point),
    Healing a Surv (All Survs from the Heal lose 1.5 Fear Points) (Dose not work whene Healing from the Dying stade)
    Compleding a Gen (Losing 3 Fear points for everyone)
    Compleding the last Gen (Losing 6 Fear points instead of 3)
    Opening a Chest (1 Fear Point)
    Hiding in a Locker (every 16 Seonds 1 Fear Point)
    Destroing a Totem (1 Fear Point)
    Saving a Survivor (Bothe Survs lose 2 Fear Points)
    Unhooking a Surv (Only the Unhooking Surv lose 2 Fear Points)
    While a Surv is in a locker for more than 10 Seconds, he can´t gain any Fear Level until he Leaves the Locker

    Fear Level 1:
    Survs in Fear Level 1 are Normal

    Fear Level 2:
    Survs in Fear Level 2 get Stalked 15% Faster.
    When Myers enters a chase or downs a Surv in Fear Level 2 he gains +3 Seconds in Tier 3 on top of the ohter Bonus Time
    Skill checks for Survs in Fear Level 2 are 10% Faster and 5% Shorter

    Fear Level 3:
    Survs in Fear Level 3 do gens 5% Slower
    When Myers enters a chase or downs a Surv in Fear Level 3 he gains +5 Seconds in Tier 3 Instead of the 3 Seconds
    Survs in Fear Level 3 Breathing louder, making 25% louder grounds of Pain and can´t see the Killers Aura
    Survs in Fear Level 3 get Stalked 30% faster
    Survs in Fear Level 3 can randomly hear Myers Breathing behind them for a few Seconds
    Skill checks for Survs in Fear Level 3 are 15% Faster and 7% Shorter

    Fear Level 4:
    Survs in Fear Level 4 get Stalked 50% faster
    Survs in Fear Level 4 Scream every 18 Seconds without revailing ther Location
    Survs in Fear Level 4 Hear Myers Terroradius like he was Standing right next to them
    When Myers enters a chase or downs a Surv in Fear Level 4 he gains +7 Seconds in Tier 3 Instead of the 5 Seconds
    Survs in Fear Level 4 Breathing louder, making 50% louder grounds of Pain and can´t see any Auras
    Survs in Fear Level 4 do Gens 10% Slower
    Survs in Fear Level 4 can randomly hear Myers Breathing behind them for a few Seconds
    Survs in Fear Level 4 are Exposed, even if Myers is in Tier 1 or 2
    Skill checks for Survs in Fear Level 4 are 15% Faster and 10% Shorter

    Fear Level 5:
    Survs in Fear Level 5 gain all the Effect of Fear Level 4.
    Myers see the Aura of all Survs in Fear Level 5 Permanantly until they exit Fear Level 5 (Ther Aura can´t be hiden to Blindness or from hiding in a Locker)
    Skill checks for Survs in Fear Level 2 are 50% Faster and 15% Shorter

    Every Surv can see how much Fear Points they and ther Team hase and what Fear Level they are.
    Myers can Only See the Fear level of all Survs.

  10. The Myers basekit changes mainly improve his typical gameplay consistency. Easier to get out of tier 1, but also easier to get some early pressure with the increased tier 1 movement speed. Faster stalk long range, so you can more consistently 99 build stalk before engaging (which is what you're supposed to do instead of popping it from far away, waiting your power and forcing people to prerun away, which wastes even more time). Myers can still run the increased stalking add-ons to quickly reach tier 3. Myers now gets more effective use from lethal pursuer, helping him build early momentum in games where he isn't aiming to farm for an infinite add-on

    There may still be a bigger rework later on down the line. Nerfing his add-ons that allow him to kill or have infinite tier 3 might indicate they are looking to fully rework those add-ons

  11. Yeah well I've lost hope for this game, they must have stored up on drugs or some shit cuz they sure as hell are on some strong stuff. No creativity, nothing people ask about is getting looked at. Everyone has been saying t3 myers is garbage and he does not feel rewarding to play eventho that is literally how the killer was supposed to work (you get rewarded for tiering up).

    What Michael Myers really needs in Dead by Daylight is lore accuracy. In the movies, when he powers up, he's virtually unstoppable. Nothing can take him down, and his obsessive drive to get what he wants means no one escapes once he's fixated on someone. They could implement a mechanic where his power revolves around obsessing over one survivor at a time. That survivor would essentially become the scapegoat, forced to survive a 1v1 showdown with Michael for as long as possible. If they fail the 1v1, they get moried or face some other severe consequence. It could even be a mini-game element to make it more intense. This change would better reflect his true strength from the films. With this change, theres no limits to how much MIKKEY vibes you could add. From intense sound effects and music, eerieness and much more. This would make it more fun to play survivor against him too.
