If no one can use the hatch during the tourney doesn't that just guarantee if you kill 3 you kill 4? Also what happens to keys that are discovered in chests?

Ruin not being able to be cleansed means killers would not be able to use other Hex perks

Scoring off map difficulty (Giving Extra Points) would fix the issue of map RNG a little bit and make games more asymmetrical

You could add a bonus point per unfinished gen. I feel like end game needs some kind of fix though, the last survivor is pretty much screwed depending on the map and killer. Perhaps they could escape if they survive a chase for long enough?
Tru, you should do a comparison video of you "camping and tunneling" so we get an idea of how your system rewards fresh hooks and discourages the 1 hook style of gameplay. Then do a score tally between the two.
I like the idea a lot. A tournament should be a showcase of the games best players competing. Fresh hooks are harder to do and require more skill, therfore they earn more points, survivors could also earn points for safehooking and completing a generator. Points for healing would be a bit much I feel. The current tournaments are just sad to watch.
Having the tournament rules swf in that way may also encourage newer players a way to play the game that's fun for both sides. Sure they may need to slug a real match but slugging for pressure is a lot different to just camping the hook.
I think something they could do about the hatch is make it constant. They could make it so that the hatch always spawns in the killer shack (they would have to remove all indoor maps) or they could spawn the hatch in the main building or just spawn it where the basement is.
What's stopping survivors from killing themselves on hook?
12:30 Hatch is a mechanic which gives you a chance to escape even though your team is completely clueless and useless. Since in tournament are always SWF teams with 4 members which know themselves, I think there is no need of hatch.
except for the cant cleanse hex ruin rule, this whould be fun to watch. I'm guessing since u cant cleanse ruin, killers can't bring other hex perks so it whould put restriction on killer builds. U should make your own tournament Tru3 for your subs. Don't have to be the best of the best. whould be really fun to watch with u commentating 😀
Na this sounds lame AF…. killer must use ruin/ survivors can’t cleanse ruin, can’t use hatch… 🤣 This just sounds like rules made up by someone who doesn’t like DbD… it should be called True’s asymmetric tournament, and not a DbD tournament, cause the rules are that ridiculous

Idea for endgame: The last survivor has to reveal his position once every 5 seconds if not already in chase.
If the last survivor was chased for a minute without being downed he get's the hatch.
Regarding Tru's WIP point scoring system and hatch mechanic. I'd like to make sincere suggestions. Take it or leave it. It's not my tournament.
I'm not certain how the WIP scoring system is going to work for the tournament beyond killer hooks.
If there's going to be a scoring system for survivors' I was thinking, 4 points for completing gens (20max completing every gen), 3 points per survivors escaping gates (12max) and the hatch escape nets the least amount of points (1 or 2) so it's still a thing though it's like a last resort.
If all survivors escape the gates 32 max points. I believe that's the max points a killer can get with hooks. (30 or 31 max points if 3 survivors escaped gates and last survivor through hatch)
Escaping out of one of the gates as the only survivor nets more points then escaping as a team for more insensitive over the hatch. 10 – 16 points maybe. Might be considered unfair since total possible score for survivors would be 36 going by the upper suggestion if all gens were completed though I think it would give survivors more insensitive to escape the gates and not the hatch.
I was thinking the killer closing the hatch triggering end game collapse would stop any additional gen points from gens nearing completion. The most points that could be scored if killer closed the hatch before gen completion to power the gate is 4 gens, 16 points plus only survivor gate escape, 16 points. Totalling 32 points. Gives insentive to finishing all gens if you're the last survivor.
I do realize this suggested survivor scoring system has an exploit if all but one survivor gets themselves purposefully sacrificed chasing points though it's a gamble that I don't think it's worth the trouble. If the killer stops you you'll get far less points then you would have if the survivor team did their best.
My reasoning for this suggestion is for both survivors and killers to have fun and do their best skill, knowledge and tactics wise earning points as a team from both as the killer and survivors. A direct comparison to how well each team is doing in a single trial before moving onto the next trial where the teams switch roles. Then you can tally the scores from each trial.
(The point system was based on. 5 points fresh hook, 2 points 2nd hook, 1 point final hook from older video. It's obviously changed since then)

This sounds like it wouldn't work at all tbh. The better killers would still be able to just tunnel someone out if the game, and with perma Ruin they'd probably still be able to get the fresh hook points as well as possibly another kill. No hatch in general also seems a bit unfair in some scenarios, but it's stupid mechanic in general, so it's hard to balance around. If someone wins because of luck that's just DBD for you. You can win because of lucky/unlucky RNG, Hatch is no different.

I don't really like hatch, even as a survivor player. Instead, the final survivor should be able to access the doors, however, they cannot see the doors, the killer can see the doors and it takes a little longer to open the doors. Either that or the last survivor gets their position revealed every 5-10 seconds. Slugging for the 4k is so lame but at the same time killers need the ability to get the 4k if they played super well the whole time.
Oh. Now I know what happened to that kid from elementary school that always made up a bunch of extra rules in every game we played because he had to win. Tru3ta1ent banning hatch escapes because he realized the other team could still win is LOLery at its best. Its like he's not even trying to show his anti-survivor bias at this point. Tru3: Your problem isn't survivors. The issue is in so many videos where you complain about gen speeds and stuff you're literally just proxy camping and hook trading and applying ZERO pressure to the other surviviors on gens. Try not going for survivors out of position and only looking for the ones on gens and you'll see how much easier killer becomes at high level play.
If they cant escaped threw the hatch that gives u no reason to close whitch means they will still have to do the last or gens solo(if there still is gens). How does that work
What about no hatch but killer must close it to begin the endgame so he can have the chance to escape. What if the survivors do not heal the slug? There is no workaround ds until 60 seconds. The only way is to eat it, making it a chance for everyone like 25 secs that u told would be much useful elsewhere.
