Hackers in Dead by Daylight seems to be on the rise. BHVR arenโ€™t doing enough to stop people from cheating in DBD. What hacks have you seen?

  1. I dont see a point in reporting hackers, they get banned come back next month after getting their money from whatever source and start another few weeks or months of cheating bc DBD is stupidly cheap on cdkeys.

it is a uphill battle that nobody is gonna stop by reporting, EAC is just meh and that is that

  2. I've only faced one killer hacker. Two lag switchers way back in the day.
The vast majority of hackers and lag switchers are survivors. I bet someone will get mad, but survivors tend to be far more likely to be scum in general. Killer is tilting and while a few set out to play scummy so many survivors think being toxic is cool. Causing so much of the player base to quit.

  3. Iโ€™ve only had one; I was playing killer, and was going against a TTV. After the game, I went to stream to watch the match from his POV. Well, about halfway through the match, when he was sure I wasnโ€™t near, he did a backflip.

  4. i played against a claudet that was basicly jsut lag switching. You might say that she just lives under a rock but she was doing gens without any problems and she was lag switching only when i was finding her. I'm not sure if she was hacking but it looked like that wasn't a normal lag switch. Can you fake lag with hacks?

  5. Hacks that break the game? Nah. Glitches that allow you to customize a character with skins you bought with real money without affecting the game in any way?
    #1 problem.

  6. It should come as no surprise at this point that BHVR cannot deal with cheaters. They refuse to increase their staff to meet their demands. They are a company in over their head, refusing to take life preservers thrown to them.

  7. this reminds me when i was playing legion against someone using speed hacks but they weren't trying to hide it as far as i am aware they have still yet to be banned honestly behavior needs to do something about these hackers

  8. I remember seeing a reddit post about a blatant hacker a while back with video to show it. I looked up the hacker's steam account and they were already banned, within a few hours of the post. So BHVR does seem to do stuff about hackers, but it's I guess randomly inconsistent

  9. once verses a huntress who threw her hatches like a machine gun and it was actually funny and she let us left the game but things like this are really boring
funny hacks are OK if it's not too often

  10. ฤฐ once played with a hacker.
ฤฐ joined a teamspeak dbd community and there was this guys i played with he played like a god lmao
Then one match he brought a key when we were the last two alive he said come with me i know where the hatch will spawn (the hatch didnt even spawn yet)
2 sek later the hatch spawns literally infront of me.. i was like dude what? You're hacking he laughed and said no it was luck and to be fair hatch spawns are mostly at the same area so i thought maybe it was luck.

Next game the same thing happend. And when i thought about the 10 games before he always found ruin, all the time.
    And it made click.
ฤฐ confronted him till he said "yes im using something" after admitting i played 2 more matches but it felt just wrong playing with him and i quitted the teamspeak and went back to playing solo.

Hacks are so boring there is just no competetion with that i nerver understood why people do that especially in dbd, dbd is the last gamer where you need hacks. So many WH perks like BBQ, object etc

  11. I used hax once. Jk. I used the need for fucking speed aka meth head clads. Basically I used. Blood pact, hope, break out and of course spirit burst. With blight rushes

  12. Well this actually explains why sometimes i get looped around a small loop without being able to catch up (i mean, i can always mindgame it, but i mean going around the loop normally). A friend of mine also found a guy that was teleporting to gens, insta-repair the gens, insta-opening the gate and then left. At least their team reported it

  13. Today I played against a hacking Doc. We all have good internet but would only skip when we would come close to the doc. He would be able to swing on us twice insta downing us. So we all just gave up on hook. Hacking is the worst.

  14. I once played as a killer and had 2 games in a row with hackers! They used speed hacks and that was really annoying. The saddest part was that they were really salty in the postgame chat.

  15. Iโ€™ve went against a full team of hackers before. I was playing spirit. After I downed one of them they decided they had enough. All of the gens were instantly done and then they all teleported through the exit gate. Then they said thatโ€™s what you get for playing spirit.

  16. I remember one time I played a game in The Game against a hacker or a team of hackers. I found them on the second floor on top of the bathroom. I hit them, then went down, they used the animation for jumping in the hatch to jump down the hole. I thought it was weird but I just thought it was a glitch or something. I followed them into the bathroom, they entered a locker, I went to grab them immediately and instantly got headonned. I recognized what happened and instantly DCd. In the postgame chat they started trash talking saying "ggez" which is why i think it was at least 2 hackers and not just the one.

Imagine hacking in this game…of all games, this meaningless ass game… Funny thing is, who knows how many games can potentially have a hacker just doing very subtle things without you realizing.

  17. I encountered the creepiest hack a few weeks ago. Have you guys seen the movie Shutter? A ghost is sitting on the shoulders of the main character. This hacker literally stayed on my shoulders when I was carrying her (Claudette) to the hook. Whilst on my shoulders she healed and did all kinds of weird stuff. I could not do anything, not drop her, hook her etc etc. Super creepy, haha!

  18. Played Hillbilly the other day, and the whole lobby of survivors were hacking. I saw a Meg Dead Hard five times in a row, multiple instant heals, everyone had an unlimited unbreakable, gens were done in seconds, and finally after they instantly opened exit gates, I down one of them at the entrance of the gate, and they teleported their buddy outside of it to escape
