Welcome to Dead by Daylight, Killers! If you’re just starting out, we’re here to walk you through the game’s ground rules and cover all the basics you’ll need to play as any of our Killers.

Dead by Daylight boasts dozens of Killers to play as, ranging from our own original creations to a selection horror’s most iconic villains. While every Killer plays differently, they all share the same goals and this video will give you the foundation you need to find Survivors on the map, chase them down, and sacrifice them – all while exploring each Killer’s unique powers.

Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer action/horror game where one player takes on the role of a brutal Killer and the other four play as Survivors. As a Killer your goal is to sacrifice as many Survivors as possible. As Survivors your goal is to work together to evade, escape, and most importantly – stay alive.

  7. can this devs stop simping so much killers? i mean i get it, they made entity to block the window after 3 jumps , scretch marks, notification on the map when rush action, they made the hatch closeble, they made the entity to kill all survivors who didnt leave after the doors were opened now what killer tutorials=))))))))))) dude stop just stop it cringe af

  18. Best build for every killer 101:
    Use Ruin, Undying, Pop, Tinkerer (, Corrupt, Deadlock) if you want to play seriously and raise your MMR.
    Use Agitation, Iron Grasp, Insidious, NOED (, Mad Grit, Starstruck) if you want to have fun and smurf.

  29. Here is how to play the killer. After 4,000 hours played… Get looped by 4 really good survivors with no perks to help you win a Chase or to help slow down the match. Get flashlight abused, and use some crappy perks to show you where to find survivors since you suck at the game. Rage quit after getting T-bagged in the safety zone known as the Exit gates. Disconnect. Get penalized for disconnecting in a shitty match. , rinse repeat. Stack a 1 week ban and go find another game to play. Then come back to play against laggy players that are really just lag switching, while a crappy anticheat software ruins your kernel and corrupts it, while NOT catching cheaters. Then get a game ban for cussing back at abusive jerks in chat. While in the meantime being spammed with TOMES and daily challenges that you are supposed to do opposite of what the objective is. Play again, rage quit after having NO perks and get really angry the grind is more hours than you will ever want to spend on a video game just to play it for what it is. Then complain on the forums about it. Only to get banned on the forum by some cranky Quebecker that is still salty for something that happened in history so petty nearly 250 years ago. Only to realize that the company they work for called Behavior interactive did NOT DEVELOP THE game, but bought it off of some bankruptcy auction. Which patching is done by cut-rate programmers that have more of an art department backing them of failed artists that are too busy drawing fan service for a sweaty basement incels. That is playing dead by daylight in a nutshell. have fun incels. have fun..
