Isn't it great how survivors can get a 100% increase of things like healing but us killers can do 5 of those and still only get 30?
They should able to be mori’d when you have 5 tokens just for the meme
Personally I think wraith is the best at applying 5 stacks because they can't really track which dull totems you're putting it on, and you can zoom around the map with double windstorm, reducing the time they have to start cleansing. The only issue is that they usually won't focus as hard at cleansing the totems because not hearing the killer's terror radius isn't that big of an issue when you don't normally hear the terror radius unless someone's in chase. I've had a few games where I got 5 stacks, but it was usually with one gen left.
Also, pentimento totems do count for thrill of the hunt, so if you were to bring that to make them waste more time cleansing the totems, you might not get 5 stacks of pentimento, but they will waste so much time on plaything and pentimento
I don't think pentimento should fully double the penalties at 5 stacks, but maybe increase them all to 50%? Remember, you could also have like thanatophobia to make it even more unbearable (as long as you don't get gen rushed too hard for not bringing corrupt)
We need more rekindle perks! This is a satisfying perk to use

It's not that they might think pentimento is their plaything totem, because they wouldn't see the aura of it, but if you start pentimento before you can get 5 stacks someone might get annoyed by the slow down and go look for it or just find it and decide that it's a hex so it must go

I absolutely love this build, but I prefer Thrill of the Hunt to Ruin!!! And Barbecue or Grim Embrace instead of Corrupt!! The long totem cleanses makes it so people don’t ever try to bless, and being able to get all the survivors hooked makes the pentimento pop up faster!!!

imo you should be able to rekindle the totems unlimited times, too. if i unlit a boon they can just lit another one or the same one again. they can even boon hex totems without even cleansing them. that's pretty dumb.

I've been running hexes pentimento and plaything with dieing light and thanataphobia. Most games I can at least keep 1 stack of pentimento up but just last night got all 5 stacks of pebtimento while I had 6 stacks of dieing light with 3 gens up. At one point they just gave up on gens and just started hiding

It would be great if the 3rd Pentimento totem increased killer's movement speed instead of recovering from the ground. And instead of exit gate which is on 4th one should have been killer recovery speed from basic attacks and stuns. 🤔
I still think it was foolish to add a pretty good hex totem after adding boon totems.

They need to make it so snuffing a boon destroys the totem. I used pentimento a lot of times and I genuinely can’t get any value out of it because of this bs. No one cleanses anymore and killers don’t want to HAVE to bring noed to kill survivors to start cleansing again
