  1. Although I do not like NFTs as they are now due to the fact that it is almost as easy to lose money there as it is for a child to lose money investing in crypto, I fucking Abhor people who hate it because "it is just picture hur dur". They have no fucking clue what NFTs are and are just making 20 million ctrl s memes which drive me up the wall. Again, I don't like NFTs either, but it's becaue I actually know what they are like, and am not just making cringy comments on how they are nonsense and suck.

Something I'd like to point out is the fact that a lot of companies noticed the jump in NFT popularity and thought to themselves "this will give us money", and proceed to ride the NFT train like there's no tomorrow, probably not even knowing how dangerous it is to invest in NFTs, especially now in it's infancy.

  2. I've always been a crypt tv fan, and I still am a fan. Nfts aren't a bad idea but they don't work current day. Crypt tv needs alternative flows of money but a patreon would have worked fine. I still support crypt tv and I understand their fault but I'm extremely sad this happened.

  3. Oh my God, not this again, please…

Ok, I understand YT is not paying them enough, but that's no excuse to scam ppl with NFTs.

If they want more money, why can't they just make merch? I bet ppl would be willing to buy figurines, plushies, costumes, etc, from the CryptTV Universe (you know, physical things with actual value).

  4. All the people whining and trying to "cancel" CryptTV are sitting down, drinking a Coka Cola, listening to this video while ordering their new Funko and posting pics of the ones they have already.

Lmfao The hypocrisy is real within this community.

  5. This is so bitter sweet for me. I love crypt tv and all of their stuff. I got their skins in dbd as soon as they came out. I feel bad for them with their finantial situation with youtube and how tough everyone was on them. But i know how shady of a "buisness" nfts are. I hope that they can find a way out of this. They were so good before this controversy.

  6. NFTs and their proponents are dumb, virtual ownership can be as simple as hosting a server with player data. The only smart people involved are those scamming others below them and making off like bandits..
NFT doomsayers are also dumb, there are millions of different unhelpful functions that take energy and cause carbon emissions. Grow a brain, I say. The only smart people involved in that are people who are actively trying to raise a fuss/virtue signal for more clicks and reputation.
Strange to say but people just shitposting about NFTs are the truly enlightened individuals in this situation, deride macro pyramid schemes without getting moralistic about something incidental.

  7. Just the fact that they tried to, literally, excuse they were getting into NFTs because they were getting "underpaid" by youtube is such a scummy move. Lowkey wasn't a big fan, but liked their aura and aesthetic, plus the addition of some of the characters to DbD. I'm happy they are losing so many fans because of this

  8. Hey schmu it’s cameron from twitch and we’ll I’m pretty big into funko which was one of the company’s you mentioned doing NFTs and In that community most dislike them and don’t buy them others only buy them for the chance at the physical pop so generally no collectors like them I assume this is the case with other NFT from company’s
