Is Demo the Right Killer for The Rancor Challenge? | Dead by Daylight Killer Builds

Read more Dead by Daylight ➜ https://deadbydaylight.mgn.gg

We have another attempt at the rancor challenge with Demo, using the same build as the last few videos that is optimized for end game. The goal is to switch obsession using Nemesis and then killing the survivor using Rancor at the end of the match, and doing it to all 4 survivors.

  1. You should experiment with Furtive Chase instead of Remember Me, as you can potentially get a situation where you can double Rancor. Hook the obsession instead of killing them, let someone save, down them both, Rancor the new Obsession, pick up the old Obsession, hope they DS you, Rancor the old Obsession. Now you have 2 survivors left.

  2. I have an idea of possibly being able to conserve pallets. What if you ran doctor and if they have you at a pallet loop, continually shock them so they can't pull down pallets. Also he has the tracking needed to find everyone in his base kit. The only challenge would be mobility but I think maybe having more information and more pallets may make up for it. For add-ons, I think it wouldn't matter as much but I think one of them should be purple calm (increased terror radius) then take them to Lerry's. Just an idea 💡

  3. Tofu, love your videos, but STOP USING DEMO, or at least the same build on him. It hasnt worked for the last 3 or 4 videos. Like do I have to pull a Far Cry 3 Vas on you and ask what the definition of insanity is? The build obviously doesn't work. Survivors are able to catch on super quick, and then know to either keep pre-throwing pallets, or never throw them at all. Also his mori is one of the longest ones in the game, thats also what gets you because then the other survivors have time to hide, or open gates when No Way Out is over.

  4. I say just move on to a different challenge or build, I feel yer gonna be batting at a thousand before you get the game that's actually gonna line up for ya. It's pure pain at this point xD

  5. You could try a furtive chase build. Down any survivor that rescues someone on hook and Mori them. Save the meta survivor last to be rescued assuming they have decisive strike. Down the rescuer for the trade, and slug the meta survivor. Mori the rescuer, then pick up the meta survivor to get DS, and down them again for the Mori

  6. If you don’t care about copying someone, you could try Dowsey’s strategy with Trapper. Use Trapper Sack with Iridescent Stone and ONLY trap the exit gate switches. That way Iridescent Stone will only reopen those two. Then just be an “M1 Andy” for the game but with a ton of gate slowdown. You could even try Midwich since gates are so easy to traverse between. Regardless, I enjoy the videos man!

  7. Huge props for pushing through these matches to continue providing great content — we appreciate it.

i'd consider going back to Pig — the RNG change on her traps means that there's a good possibility you could have multiple survivors running around at endgame needing multiple boxes to get their traps off, leading to the extra time you need at the end. A crazier idea might be to slap on Amanda's Letter, which if I'm correct, means that a least one survivor is going to need a 3 box seach (maybe more than 1, if it's an equal 3-3 split), and try to time both traps for right before the last gen pops.

In any case, you'll get it. We believe!
