This video overviews the fact the leak that Stranger Things is coming Dead by Daylight this Winter had fake models of Vecna. In theory it’s still possible Stranger Things is returning and that was a bait to Behaviour employees.

  1. I still believe Stranger Things will return, but maybe not with a Part II. I think Behavior was upset someone leaked that Stranger Things was returning, so they decided to plant a fake Vecna model to lure out the leaker. I think Stranger Things returning was supposed to be a suprise maybe and that was ruined so they decided to take matters into their own hands. I don't want to lose hope because I love Stranger Things but with DBD's playerbase slowly just dropping with each update I don't know if Netflix can see giving them a license would help them benefit much. Lets just keep praying and hope we can get Scoops Ahoy Steve back.

  2. I got suspicious of this over the fact the rumors stated Vecna would be released in December, which would mean a new chapter, or at least a paragraph, but chapter 26 (the Knight) is set to be released in November while 27 (looking like it will be licensed) will be March. So, releasing a brand new licensed killer in December doesn't seem to hold up. (There's also the fact that it seemed the agreement between Netflix and BVR was recent) Having said that, re-releasing the older ST content for December could still happen as its not new and the code is already there. Would make for a nice Christmas gift for players.

  3. that's kinda smart from BHVR baiting leakers to find out who's a leaker among them. But all in all, I really wish Stranger Things come back in DbD but I wouldn't want Vecna as a new Killer, though I think he may work as a legendary skin for some Killer like Pinhead or something

  4. Wouldnt it be great if the devs would come and clear up the conspiracies/false claims? But they won’t. Incompetent idiots that only care about your $ and free hype at the end of the day.

  5. You're the worst and ruining the game with all the click bate BS and spreading leaks. Most of which are miss information. Just because someone send you BS doesn't mean you have to share it.

  6. My take on it: part of it is fake and part of it is real. Hawkins, the skins returning as well as a total re build of Nancy and Steve’s perks to fit in line with the new direction of the game all seem like incredibly realistic things that any game devs would do. As for Vecna and the NDA, it’s realistic that if BHVR knows about it’s internal leaking problem (which lets be honest they do) it would be a genuinely good way to identify, then rat out any internal leakers. They’d know fans would go absolutely buckwild when they see any physical leak of something let alone a 3D wireframe mesh of a character. The other option is that like film studios, they intentionally threw the “leak” out there not to rat anyone out but instead to see fan reaction and gauge peoples interest in seeing if would be worth doing, going to Netflix and asking them to nicely stop being a bunch of cunts. As for the NDA I mean like sports, any rumour it has to have started from something that’s been an actual conversation of similar topic close to the source like the developers, not even related to the topic of confirmed content coming back but something like “what content could we physically do if Netflix came knocking again”
