  1. Looking at the first clip at 25% speed, it seems as though
    A) The animation is exactly 1 second long.
    B) Claud takes a hit as the animation stops, meaning no lingering Endurance after the animation.
If the animation denies interactions for its duration, DH cannot be used for distance in any capacity.

  2. I don't even use dead hard in my build but still a ph*ck you to BHVR as a solo q survivor player because now

    1) Everybody is gonna use sprint burst instead and will walk to generators, slowing down the whole game, on top of the increased gen repairing time
    2) Self care getting nerfed even more (something that noone asks for) which means more noobs will just hide in a corner self caring, not doing gens/saving anyone

  3. The funny thing about this change is that killers think its a good thing, you will see how terrible this change is when you start running into sprint burst players, SB is WAY worse than any DH user and you will soon find out 🙂

  4. As a killer main, I like this change. Dead Hard wasn't strong purely for the invulnerability. It was strong because you could use it to not only dodge a hit but make a large amount of distance to a window or pallet WHILE the killer could do absolutely nothing to stop it. Now it's just a parry move for lunge attacks because it isn't humanly possible to parry the quick attack (nor do I think it's possible since I'm pretty sure the quick hit damage comes out anywhere from frames 1-3).

Things to note about Dead Hard:
    1. Even if you do parry a hit, you still have to mend for 12 seconds afterwards. (Best case scenario)
    2. Similar to old Dead Hard you're likely not going to be able to vault or drop pallets during the animation due to animation lock.
    3. The killer can just wait 1 second to hit you and since there is no longer the 1.5 second dash, you're not gaining nearly as much distance so the killer can hug your ass the whole time you're in your Dead Hard.

  5. Just now being a killer main for once and I think this is fair yeah you guys don't get distances but if used right it can be helpful but I think Sprint burst will be used more then dead hard and sprint burst players aren't really that bad

  6. “Worse yet if you do it for distance” 👀 this poor game (they could at least change the animation from a slow DH animation to something new the Dab looks really stupid).

  7. this is honestly so sad, i don’t even know what to say about this change to dh. only thing i will say is that i will miss the old dead hard a lot, extremely not satisfied with this change.

  8. This is what happens when killers whine about things. They make things worse for themselves. They complained about maps being to big. But in some cases smaller maps help survivors work better as a team cuz they find each other better. So any changes killers don't like….well they bring it upon themselves.

  9. It seems impossible to please both sides. Killer mains are ecstatic and survivor mains are.. well.. yeah.

I stopped playing DBD a while ago, but I hope it works out in the end.
