  1. I play killer and i have a look of fun and i never be like an asshole. if i just win i win and go play next game as killer been having more fun as clown for the past 2 years olaying. And as a solo survivor i got my first win on dbd for the second day. Plus i get into more chases as a killer and do more as a killer.

Just like Tru3talent said that it is not a great idea to nerf slowdown perks they should've nerf only survivor stuff because for a long time in every patch is nothing but killer nerfs and survivors stay the same like always so it's not fair, and they shift killer meta all the dam time but survivors still have the same crutch perks like dead hard that never change until now and others until now as well

  3. Hi MrGimms, here what I have seen so far as a killer main:
    If I play "nice" gen still fly. Maybe because I'm facing SWF most of the time that just go with 2 o 3 Prove + toolbox. Chases are easy now (main legion), winning a mind game feel rewarded. And you can notice survivor who know what they are doing from those who needed DH.
    Altruism plays make survivors throw the game. Getting a 4 escape is probably impossible is the killer is half good.
    Best strat to counter gen rushing is still focusing someone out of the game. But in both case the game will be 7min~ long.

    Things that I think need to be looked at:
    – STBFL: with the change to hit CD and the speed burst from the survi, an 8 stack STBFL is too strong. They need to check those numbers. You can hit a survi who just gen unhooked and be on him again in less than 10 second. DS? no problem, another 10 second and down again.
    – thana: I used with legion prepatch. I didnt need a buff. Revert it. And make it don't stack with other effect like Pentimento.

  4. What I've noticed is a lot of groups are three gen-ing themselves. That makes it crazy easy to pull it back from 1-2 hooks to the 4k without needing to camp/slug. I've had zero sabos, I feel like survivors timing is off on pick up flashy saves idk if that's from the 10% action speed buff on killer. Hit and run tactics are really efficient cause of all the deep wounds going off. On my survivor build I'm using open handed kindred bond and windows of opportunity and at low mmr it feels really good to basically know wtf I need to be doing at any moment. I see some mistakes my team does like auto unhooking on first hook instead of slamming gens, not punishing the face camp and just grouping together in a corner of the map.

    I think mmr is busted and killer is stronger now but there is gonna to be some adjustments that survivors need to compensate for and behavior can't just dictate player interaction before the game becomes incredibly stale.

    One perk I'd like to see is if a killer is patrolling or camping your hook and you have been in his terror radius for more than 20 seconds he becomes oblivious for 120 seconds and the unhooker gets endurance.

    also solo just feels the same except bt is basekit and killer is tolerable now

    and solo is just bad cuz randoms are ass as always tbh

  6. I just want to mention this but dude chill out, you are getting too emotional in a party game because of tactics and strategies which can feel unfair and truly unfortunate.

    Like when someone uses an item to steal your star in Mario Party, getting thrown a blue shell and losing first place in Mario Kart, someone placing a uno reverse card then a +4 in a game of UNO. All I am saying is, these moments which understandably can be infuriating but when you can people assholes for this things, you are objectively in the wrong. Now if I called you let's say "a stupid bitch" in a game of… Jenga, you most likely would tell me to calm down and stop playing because if I don't then I might continue with the nasty behavior and a horrible mindset if I continued playing Jenga like this. (I also want to mention that this has happened to me in DBD, I had taken a break for weeks and reconsidered my actions if it was worth being mad about it… Quick answer: No, it's not competitive, there's no money to win)

    I have nothing against you, I just don't want someone to be in this nasty path because of DBD. Yes this things may suck but at the end of the day, it's a party game.

  7. Camping/tunneling is a bit stronger because of the DS nerf, less of a speed boost when hit and decreased the time for a cooldown after a hit but that’s it. Survivors can still bodyblock, gens still fly because of the nerf to all the gen slowdown perks, perks like Prove Thyself makes them go even faster and toolboxes in general are a problem.

  8. People have been asking for a crafting and disenchanting bench for add-ons since forever. There's so many things people are forced to get every bloodweb that they literally never use. Idek why I'm asking so much of people who can't even add a search bar for the perks though.

  9. I think this is one of the best update ever. I am having good games as killer ans as a survivor. People just need to realize that old meta is dead. The new perks shine through and there are some interesting builds on both sides to experiment with.

  10. 1:40 its killersided more now cause survivors op metaperks got fckd over and they actually need to learn to play now better since second chance perks took big dive. that is something which i have seen alot of lately that ppl fail way more than before perkchanges and survivor solo q is pure shit atm cause of it. I play both sides and yes seems killerside is more balanced now and i actually do better on it but they didnt get buffed to the sky , survivor players just lost their easy to win metabuilds and are whining now.

  11. I play both roles but solo Q is miserable༎ຶ‿༎ຶ DS nerf was unnecessary and I kept getting newer players for some reason.. they kept healing and healing barely touch the gens.

  12. I love this update when it comes to playing killer, it doesn't feel as stressful to play killer anymore, i can finally enjoy a chill game with my favourite killers.

    Where they messed up is for solo queue, you're still stuck playing with dumbasses who'll run at the killer to get their attention then pull a pikachu face when they get trounced on in 5 seconds flat turning the match into a 3v1.
    MMR is still a problem for survivor, especially now that the game requires you to win as a team to defeat the killer. And when you get paired with survivors who hide in the corner of the map or behind a bush while on the other side you're facing a Dredge main who reads your mind as if they were psychic… well it's midly infuriating.
    The base kit BT is okay ish, and with perks like OTR you can straight up punish killer for tunneling, i managed to turn a losing 3v1 against a Trickster in our favour just because of that, they wasted too much energy chasing me to get me into deep wound, it allowed my teammates to crack his 3 gen. It's not impossible to defeat a killer but you're much more dependent on your teammates in order to win, and MMR just doesn't help. It doesn't help either that now that perks like DH and DS got nerfed you clearly see who is truly skilled and who is absolutely boosted, not to mention the many manchild who'll DC even more frequently because you cannot bully killers like before.

    Face camping is also even more braindead and effective now, it takes 90 seconds to finish a generator, and if the killer have deadlock in his arsenal it's pretty much curtain for your whole team.

    Not only that but killers and surv still have to suffer through horrendous map design (Badham, Midwich, the game, shelter wood, Lerys, Mother's dwelling, RPD etc…)
    Not to mention the fact that some original killers don't have a map (Twins and Trickster).

    But the worst offender of all that barely anyone seem to have noticed is how cash-grabbing this update is gonna be for newer players specifically new killers. The best perks for killers are locked behind licensed chapter (Hellraiser, Saw, RE,Sadako rising, Bubba, Ghosty and maybe Stranger things if we get the license back) the only killer i could think of that have good perks but isn't blocked by a pay wall is the Artist. Before the update you could unlock perks for every killers through the Shrine of secrets right ? Well to bad now you'll have to grind through every specific killer in order to get them at level 3, because now doing this through the Shrine of secrets is impossible, it cost way to much Iri shards. They should have thought of another way to give us more Iridescent shards, like… oh i don't know… through their newly updated prestiging system? So you're incentivised even more to keep on prestiging your characters? (Survivors and Killers)

    To help solo queue i think they should make kindred basekit so newer players have an idea of what is going on around them, whenever someone get hooked, this perk genuinely helped me becominga better survivorand is pretty useful in order to coordinate who is doing what (unless they're blinded by mindbreaker/fearmonger or third seal). Whenever a survivor disconnects out of the game, their teammates should all get a small speedboost to their gen repair and healing speed, just like in Propnight.
    A way to fix that would be to give base kinship/camaraderie to survivors when the killer stay to close from the hook, and disable certain killers power when they're within proximity of a hooked survivor, like it still baffles me to see that they've made it so Dredge cannot teleport into a locker near a hooked survivor, that Twins and Artist cannot use their powers within 12 meters from a hook, but Billy, Bubba, Huntress, PH and Trickster can.
    IMO despite its flaws this update is a step in the right direction, the devs should still keep on listening to the constructive criticism of the community.

  13. I try to play both sides. I’ve gotten games as survivor where the killer is running the “You can’t do gens” build. I’ve seen Dying light, Thanatophobia, you name it. Add on the top the 10 second increase to gen repair time. Some games just feel unwinnable from the start and I just give up.

  14. In my personal opinion to I wanted all the portrait. I got bills to pay and mouth to feed. If they did announced sooner about needed to prestige during The ring chapter vi would have done it. I hope the devs reconsider bringing it back like when there will be no more killers and survivers and it's your last chance before it's final patch. I do have characters with the red glow but not all fingers cross if they give old and new players second chance. Like overwatch is doing. If you missed out some skins in time they will be bringing them back. I do like that red glow.

Things started off badly for the Nurse in the match that made me hang up DBD for the night, She lost 2 gens before she even found anyone, I was already a little salty after getting Tombstoned with 4 gens remaining in my previous match(Thanks for feeding Michael team), so when the Nurse finally started getting hooks and just camping them, I was officially done. I was running a strange build (Pharmacy, Detective's Hunch, Inner Healing and Prove Thyself), so I could have ran something else and perhaps done better, but it wasn't like I was downed in chase. I was downed swapping places with someone on a hook, so I actually needed to be full health to get an unhook. It was as boring as it sounds. The game is in a bad place right now for sure, killers playing like assholes are in no short supply . It's an unfun game right now, and I don't even want to play killer to see if I like that any better. Tomorrow is another night and I will probably test out killer, and try and figure out a few builds Good content mate. The you're spot on in your assessment in my opinion.

  16. Hate the update, no reason to pick survivor anymore as someone who plays both. If you are a killer main enjoy the lack of survivors to play against. DIsconnects are the new Survivor Meta & I’ll accept any punishment dished out for it gladly

  17. I played killer, and wow it's easy mode so far. I didn't play like and asshole just had a pretty strong build with Doc and Legion. Overcharge, Call of Brine, Discordance, Thanataphobia for Doctor, and Thanataphobia, Discordance, Call of Brine, Deadlock for Legion. Legion match I had one player pointing at the hook and wanting out of the match by the time I finished my first Feral Frenzy They all basically gave up within a few minutes, but I brought a cake so I let them farm for points a bit, it was fun. Doctor match had a flashy squad, and were decent but not great survivors. I miscalculated and allowed a couple flash y saves, but I wised up and saved my static blast to find them before I picked up after that. Or just made sure I got the guys with flashlights in Madness III. Hard to say how the matches would have went if they were gen rushing tryhards, instead of guys following behind a chase hoping to use their flashlights, but the chases I found to be way shorter than I'm used to, and I didn't feel much pressure in the early game with no gens popping left and right. I felt no need to camp or tunnel at all. I did miss BBQ for post hook information, but I was pretty lucky I heard survivors trailing behind me to get the unhook pretty often, so it wasn't bad. We'll see how it goes with more testing, lack of info was a worry for me without BBQ or Tinkerer in my builds.

Like honestly, the update was hard for me and I felt like I was in such a minority opinion on Twitter. So I sought out videos with other opinions and I’m so glad your video is one of the first I come across. You’re so articulate, your knowledge on DBD is extensive, and I can always count on you to give solid feedback. Maaaan…I’ve sincerely missed it. Just reminded me of why I liked your content so much in the beginning. Need to catch more of your videos 🥺👉👈!

  19. As a solo q player it's worse than before. Most Hunters use the Anti Gen Rush, and Gens needs longer than a minute or two or three, which isn't much fun either. Hunters don't even have to be good to get a 3 or 4 kill anymore. 60% of the hunters I play against now only tunnel and camp, which isn't necessary if you're only wearing the Anti Gen Rush build, since Gens take centuries.
    I don't really care that they nerfed the meta perk for Survivor, since I only use Sprint Burst, Adrelin, Hope and Lightweight after Update and before the Update I used Sprint Burst , Adrelin, Spine Chill and I forgot the Name of the last perk that I used (I'm not the meta guy).
    Hunters are catching up to you even faster than before. And Hunters think that we Solo q Survivors are crying . Most of the perks were nerfed for Survivor (There are Perks where I don't understand why they got nerfed like Spine Chill. Why was Spine Chill nerfed? ). The Hunters who think that we Solo q Survivors are crying and exaggerating should play survivor solo q themselves. I lost most rounds today and won maybe 2 or 3 and am stuck on gold 1 since yesterday. What a joke . _.

  20. Killer feels better but its still a sweatfest and even if you win I don't feel like it was fun at all. I mainly play plague now because it feels like one of the only viable killers now against sweatsquads
