Forcing Condemn Moris with Sadako! | Dead by Daylight

I used to think that the condemn-focused Onryo playstyle was too risky and gimmicky to be consistent, but after seeing it crush a group of Survivors in a tournament round, I decided to learn this playstyle and give it a proper try. This video breaks down this playstyle and features two very exciting matches!

  1. A lil' note, with thana being nerfed, for those of you interested in this playstyle, consider agitation! Hooking next to TVs can serve as a substitute for the ring drawing/thana combo, with the added benefit of condemning both the hook-ee and the unhooker! Happy condemns 😈

  2. I'd say do that more (you and other killers that watched the video) – maybe the spike of tunneling Sadakos with starting tape addon (and basically a free kill) will force devs to make some healthy changes to her, so she wouldn't have to do that strategy to reliably use her power?

  3. they should make an iridescent add on that makes the onryo always cloaked form, and able to hit inside it, but remove the ability to teleport. instead, she just turns the tv off and it applies condemned, but she can't tele to it.

  4. That's a neat strategy at the beginning, and it's pretty horrifying. Instead of most killers who have abilities to try and end a chase, Sadako WANTS to extend the chase. Trying to be a distraction is actually a very bad idea with this character, as the longer she chases you the closer you are to instant death.

  5. I honestly wouldn't nerf walking backwards while chasing. A thing Sadako likes to do in the Grudge movies is to have their back turned to their prey, and also use strange movements.

  6. I actually had a Sadako do this like a couple weeks ago, she had the survivors start with tapes and healing from condemned add on, I'm a solo queue player, I was the only one cleansing myself so she actually didn't immediately mori downed survivors in order to condemn me, she ending up killing everyone and throwing me on a hook, it was very fun to play against if I'm being honest, just wish my teammates were a bit more smart

  7. Iridescent Tape + Ring Drawing is faster overall. Being able to spam TVs for the entire match is better than just giving survivors a tape at the start, which is mostly useless.
Giving survivors a tape at the start is also counterproductive. If their condemn gets too high, they just need to deliver their tape. They already know what TV they need to give it to at the start of the match. Whereas, if you don't use the Tape Editing Deck, when survivors are condemned enough to feel in danger, they have to find a tape first. And guess what? They can't get a tape if all the TVs are constantly off from you spamming them. Survivors can't get rid of their condemn if they can get their hands on a tape in the first place.
Only slugging and not hooking is also better because of Ring Drawing. Hooking is counterproductive if you're going for condemn kills.
