Apparently you can equip 80+ of the same add-ons so it's probably not infinite just EXTREMELY amplifed. I've heard how some of the hacks work
Wait, so you're telling me that this literal perfection of a game has any issues?Well, I'm only aware of the skill issue, I don't know about anything.
BHVR with their infinite wisdom decided that items and killer powers can equip as many addons as you want, including duplicates. The only limit is the game interface not allowing you to do so legitimately. So cheaters use external programs to create items with super stacked addons for things like virtually infinite duration. Add 50 green batteries to a flashlight and you can use it continuously for over 5 minutes.
A simple fix would be to either do basic sanity check for the number of addons or simply not allow more than 2 addon slots on the server. The fact that they still haven't done anything like this is very weird.
Fun fact: I believe it is still possible to legitimately obtain and keep an item with duplicate addons by searching a chest with Ace in the Hole, it's just extremely rare.

The only reason I'd ever cheat in this game is for BP offerings, like 50 hours in so far and I have ~90 total levels in survivors and ~70 in killers that's with me getting BBQ for killer side

FYI: The dbd "anticheat" pretty much does nothing and when I say that I mean all it does, is it just prevents people from activating their cheats before the game starts. So say you try to inject your cheats into dbd the anti cheat will prevent that. now the slight issue is you can disable the anti cheat incredibly simply by altering like 1 file in the files, and then you have COMPLETE REIGN OVER THE GAME. there NO anti cheat inside the game. if you go 9999999999 mph the game will think "oh that's normal" and it wont do anything. on top of that anything that happens in the game, dbd devs cant see. the only way for someone to be banned is if a BUNCH of people reported the cheater or you manually go to the dbd support site and make a ticket to report the person except then its still a 50/50. the only thing that's recorded is the lobby and end lobby chat. that's it.
