Hey everyone, today we’re looking at the funniest bugs from DbD history. I got my discord to help me out with this one, as there’s a lot I’d probably miss otherwise. Let’s get into it.

  1. Regarding the Knight Grab bug, around that time as The Knight would stab down his sword and spawn the orb, he'd disappear for a frame before reappearing. From the outside looking in, I think that using his power would turn the killer themself into the orb and spawn a dummy prop at where they used their power, leading to the bug. I also recall in an Otz weekly compilation, after using his power as knight, his pov actually teleported to where he left his guard and was only fixed after the guard downed the survivor.

  2. The hill one reminds me of when I got stuck in a corner of lery’s and no one could get me out 🥲 even the killer tried but nope XD eventually just dc’d and spectated so I wasn’t holding the others hostage waiting for me to bleed out. It was a couple months ago so pretty recent

  3. One of my all-time favorite bugs was when survivors were able to point while crouching up and down at the same time. It just looked an incredibly goofy dance. Another favorite is when the survivors' legs would shuffle quickly while slightly holding down the analogue stick (for console players), giving a funny 'granny' walk. Such bugs have honestly been some of my favorite parts of the game.

I was hoping to see “hook desync” around the year four anniversary whenever killer would start the hook animation they would pause sometimes and slide around, hooking the survivor in a random spot near the hook. This had multiple effects from letting the survivor float around the map while still needing to be unhooked at the hook, and some killers power animations getting turned off. I remember Demogorgon turned into a sliding statue that did the vaulting animation when any interaction happened including charging of shred I think.
    edit: also getting unhooked in that state could result in you glitching around the map and getting stuck in hills that’s when I remembered that glitch.

  5. there was this bug where like the edge of the map became like a red texture and looked like it was unfinished. also had a game on haddonfield, where one of the edge walls where missing. we were running in and outside of the map, was pretty funny. (this took place about 2 months ago)

  6. I went up against Demi as Wraith and he was abusing the fake vault glitch all game which made me so happy when i killed him and the whole team haha

Just another bug… not sure if still ingame but happened to me in a live match about a month ago, is when running insta kill myers, if you insta kill just before someone vaults, nothing happens but you lose your menu, you cant see how much power you have or have left, survivor states or anything like that. Its only fixed mid game if you insta kill someone

  8. you forgot about a bug that happened a few years back where random weirdly build hill would spawn and even recently on storehouse with loops u can walk through and lava floors everywhere i have footage if u want to see

  10. a while ago i was playing pyramid head, started the basekit mori on a survivor who dc'd, which made me stuck for the rest of the game like nurses glitch

  11. Back in the early days when Crotus Penn (along with Nurse and Nea) was released, there was an animation bug with Claudette and some Meg hairs in pony tails that would stretch out when you were walking around the 2nd floor on the main building.
    Secondarily there was a bug with the initial kicking animation for Trapper when they added in gen regression where his leg would twist and bend during the animation.
    There are also the numerous survivor running with different animations bug. The old one was when Spirit Fury would proc and the survivor would run, but would be in standing animation when doing so. There's also the one where the survivor would be ascended (higher elevation hooked animation) after being unhooked (sometimes it would also play the hook sac animation if you saved at just the right time), and the more recent Wesker power toss into mend state into run while still being stuck in the toss/grab animation I think there was also one where the survivor would remain in dying state animation if they got up themselves or got up extremely fast with For The People for a few seconds before returning to normal. Event interactables spawning around the map outside the intended time that cannot be interacted with.
    There's also the mega nuke hook sacrifice where the animation would be 100x louder and brighter for no reason whatsoever.
    For gameplay ones, I remember the numerous being stuck in pallet ones, even recent ones where you could slide in the opposite direction than intended, resulting in further going in or out of the same side you were initially on. 4 survivors, 1 hatchet Huntress. Cenobite warping to the other side of the exit gate if the survivor was solving the lamentation configuration close to it. Survivor getting disconnected while they're working on the gen and they continue to work on the gen for an unspecified length afterwards. Unintentionally spaghetti coded NOED original power (exit gate opening vs when gens were done). There were the numerous unintended perk effects like the 15% all actions increase Wake Up, slow animation super long Dead Hard (as a result of the fully slow animations bug for survivors), and multi obsession nemesis perk to name a few.

  12. i had the locker flop happen when i was legion and pulled a quinton out of a locker. it was so funny that i let the guy go but then the game just backed me out. i got a steam screenshot though

  13. hey, just in case you were curious, I HAVE pulled of hag cannon in a live game and gotten all 4 survivors off map. Every survivor registers as hooked three times but doesn't die so the game can't end, if you close hatch and then wait a little bit though the game ends, pretty neat little trick.

  14. Honourable mention to floating hook animation where if someone gets unhooked, they get stuck in the hooked animation and just start floating around which is absolutely hilarious!

    Also, this game needs a remastered version to get rid of all these bugs. Devs are either lazy, lack skills or simply find the bugs a nature of this game.

  16. My favorite DBD bug is one that I can't find any videos or clips of anymore.

    On the old Gideon Meat Packing Plant, if you had Dead Hard you could ramp yourself off of one of the cars in front of an exit gate and fly over it, letting you escape the trial at 5 generators left.

  17. there’s a bug with merciless storm (idk if it’s still here) but my friend was playing doctor and we tested it, they were doing an impossible skill check build with merciless and unnerving and for some reason when i missed the skill check just all progress went to 0

  18. The invisible Dredge still exists, but I'm not sure if it's affecting living survivors. Had a game when after I died I went to spectate, there was nightfall and Dredge was carrying a survivor, I assume it was Dredge, because survivor was being carried by nothing and we were against Dredge. Thankfully it was visible again after nightfall (I don't know about next nightfall, because game wasn't that long afterwards).
