Just now getting back into dbd, havent played since 2016 and i just bought the trickster lol
Who playing trickster. I honestly haven't seen trickster in a long time.😂
Trickster main here, a few tips.
1.When you're first starting out as trickster only throw your knives at short or mid-range, he is a very mid-range killer and that's where you're gonna get a lot of your downs and pressure from him.
2. Throw your knives towards the survivors feet, i know this may sound odd but the hitboxes in dbd are janky, if you throw around their leg area you're more likely to hit more knives.
3. If a survivor is running into you and you're having a hard time landing your knives due to pov, just take the free m1. Trickster's main downside is time efficiency, reloading can cost you the game if you just waste your knives.
So the tricksters story is interesting but his knife throws just don’t look like they have any impact.
Trickster against that new perks that make you run 3% faster when injured is going to be… interesting.

Some general tips:
Try to throw knives in 3 round bursts so you won't waste knives too quick unless they're running in straight lines then just hold the button
If playing on controller strafe more to get those knives in
Go for open areas when chasing as it'll give you good line of sight
Don't use main event unless you're camping for whatever reason or have them in a good spot
Try to avoid tall walls or structures as that hinders chase time so if it happens drop chase and go for someone else
Some good perks are iron maiden, darkness revealed, monitor and abuse, bamboozle, no way out, any slowdown perk as he needs time to down survivors
And the last tip:
Practice! Practice makes perfect! The more you play him the better you'll be at aiming! A good addon if your having trouble aiming are the cufflings to see auras and shatter blades(forgot the name) which creates splash damage.

Biggest advice for trickster I could give is don't get tunnel vision when it comes to your knives. If you have an opportunity to m1 someone but you're still busy throwing knives and missing half of them you're wasting time.

• Game Afoot
• Play With Your Food
• STBFL
When the obsession changes, use your speed boost to go to the next survivor. Bring a Mori or a hatch offering.
