  1. Thats why I bought the AOT skins, I didnt exactly want them but I also wanted to get them because they were being turned into a collectors item.

They arent even the best skins for those characters, in my opinion anyways.

  2. Be nice to have a reward for every P level you get, cool skins or bonus blood points/shards, something.
But it seems like also something you would have to do on survivors skins you don't play just to keep from being tunneled out every round. My Feng is a P7 and I can rarely play her anymore without being made the killer's sole focus.

  4. I literally had to purchase the tiers because of FOMO, as I didn’t have enough time to finish the rift. I wish some dev at BHVR gave me the tiers for free so I could not feel like I missed out 😅

  5. Wasn't their original excuse in a different q&a that not enough people had it for it to be something worth investing resources into?

Both excuses that they've given feel like bs ngl. The FOMO excuse is just flat out hypocritical, and the not enough people had it excuse is just idiotic because maybe more people would actually go for it if it had a reward?

  6. I just say I am playing DBD on Epic where I dont have a single dollar spent so I dont care aboit FOMO which is predatpry as hell in itself but whats the bigger problem with this fuckin game is the grind is fucking atrocius, the shrine of garbage is the most fucking garabe of a joke I ever seen in a video game and completely anti consumer and the iridescent shard you buy the shit from store for are the slowest crawling shit I have ever and I mean ever experienced in a game that has to be boight separately for real fuckin money. When I saw MintSkull video I stopped playing for like a year and I will never spend a dollar on this game to support this fuckin company any longor I moved to epic where I recieved the game for free and I am only playing there for the rest of the DBD life cycle until they do something about this whole fuckin thing. Sorry for my rant I just had to get this crap outta my chest… nice take on this predatory shit from you!

  7. ~ PRESTIGE 100-REWARDS ~
As long as the P100-Outfits aren't time limited (like Prestige until 24 November 2016 to get Legacy and then it's gone forever) I see no FOMO effect here. Everyone can get it and isn't missing out anything. They just have to play the game long enough like everyone else has to do to get it.

To be honest: When you have a fulltime-job it only takes about 4 month to P100 a character when you play regularly and use cakes/BPS you'll automatically get from the Bloodwebs.
That's absolutely I time people could wait to get a Special Outfit or something.

So BVHR should definitely create P100 Rewards. If they think P100 a character is too hard and rare (what it's not) maybe they should remove the additional 20.000 BP they added to Prestige EVERY LEVEL.

  8. Solid vid as always MrHeadAche! On one hand, I do agree with all of your points. On the other hand, what can they give p100 that would satisfy people reaching the p100? I mean I don’t think people would be happy with a charm but on the flip side if they went the skins route, would this not screw over all the licensed chapters?

  9. It's really statements like those from them that make me wonder if applying Hanlon's razor to bhvr's practices wouldn't find it's actually malice, not incompetence. and it frigging sucks 🙁

  10. Nah I understand their argument. I don’t think it’s necessarily a “fear” of missing out that’s the problem, I think it’s that they don’t think obtaining prestige 100 is something that should be incentivized at all. To the devs, P100 is something you go out of your way to do for your own personal enjoyment, and a reward would make it feel like an objective.

  11. This wasn't an AMA, it was a Twitter thread started by The King's questions of "What would you ask the Devs". The DBD social media team saw it and started answering many of these. Big thing to point out since you said they did a "AMA". While not a big deal, AMA's are typically approved by the company's leadership in some way to make sure certain things are vetted appropriately and go through the correct teams.

If you give a P100 reward, what's stopping people for asking for more and more rewards at other milestones, such as P25, 50 or 75? Honestly, the prestige awards should be able to be used regardless if you're playing the character. It's a bragging right, not a reward. If people want something for Prestige levels, I wouldn't expect anything more than something for the Profile/Character cards so you can showcase your favorites even when not playing them or that role.

    Overall, ya'll overreacting about this.

P.S.: They can totally make money off of prestige levels by selling BP boosters. Don't pretend it's not monetizable

  12. FOMO is actually why I stopped playing DBD tbh. Mind, I was kinda looking for a reason to stop playing, but when that really cool Yui fan-made skin came out and life went to shit during that battle pass, I ended up missing out on 2/3rds of the cosmetic.

Hated the fact that I missed my favorite character's best cosmetic, so I just… stopped playing.

Same thing happened in DotA when I realized I couldn't get the items I wanted before they became $100 each.
