What are you most excited for this mid-chapter patch? Happy Holidays!
I am excited about the new survivor is because I really like new content like maps for example and you mention the devs remove kicking and my opinion is that if they do remove then the gens needs to be slower because the gens are just being popped way to fast and you can't really put to much pressure until late game or if you are lucky at the beginning of the game and not towards the end

I mean, if they remove kicking, then gens better go 2x slower.
The one thing BHVR desperately needs to fix when reworking maps is thr damn dead ends. I am so tired of every map now having dead ends.
The best solution to 3 gen is having 3 gens unable to be repaired at every edge of the map. When the 4th gen is done, the 3 gens at the sides of the map become available to repair.
Can't wait for them to somehow buff the blight even more

Depending what they do about 3 Gen depends if I ever play killer again. It's already crazy weak and nerfed, every patch just nukes whatever they have. I'll just forget abuse all these broken perks that never get nerfed as survivor I guess
Hell yeah a new original survivor, and the 3 gen isn't killer's or the dev's fault that's on the survivor's
The life of a trapper main is a life of trapper pain.
As Survivor and Killer: I see a lot of Survivors do the first gen they see and put no thought into strategizing which ones to do in which order… then complain about a 3 gen…
BHVR: Le'ts nerf Killers more.
I really wanted TCM to be competion for this game. Killers need something else to play, so when we get shafted, we can just play something else (as Matt points out one should do when frustrated with DbD game mechanics). There's plenty of horror games from the "Survivor" perspective. Too few successful games exist from the "Killer" perspective. If Survivors wanna play something else that's similar: they got options. Killers just have to take the beatings BHVR dishes out. Why are they like this?

Any word if they are gonna do anything about body blocking/ holding you hostage until endgame timer runs out?? We need to lose collision with crows please. Or killers lose collision if they stand still for a certain period of time?
I feel like the best solution to 3 genning would be to make it so that, if you’re at the end of the game and there’s 3 generators that are within so many meters of each other and the killer has kicked them a certain amount of times (maybe 10 or 20), then one of the generators is randomly blocked and it’s progress is transferred to an already completed generator further away. Like basically swap the places of those 2 generators.
What’s wrong with the three gens? It’s sounds like to me that DBD is trying to correct a mistake the supervisors make.
As long as JRM keeps his holes on Grim Pantry the rework should be cool
Fov slider makes no sense. Who would put it low? Of course everyone wants the widest fov possible
I am concerned for the Onryo changes, I hope she maintains her alternate win condition. I’m also concerned for 3-gens and the swamp. I know everyone hates the swamp but I find it to be the most unique map in the game at many points in its history. It’d be a shame if they change its whole identity with the rework!
Imagine if the survivor was one of the alpha survivors
Hell, it'd be awesome if they pulled a Legion and let you play as 4 different people on the same character. That way, we could have all 4 alpha survivors

No, wait. They can't rework swamp, that's my go-to thing to complain about BHVR slacking on.
I don't know what's wrong with swamp or hedonfield , but they still got problems on Disturbed ward , Springfield and garden of joy main buildings
I enjoy all the slopes and uneven surfaces in the swamp no other maps provide that i hope it maintains that level of uniqueness in that regard. The sewer pipes would be cool for a variation
So survivors are getting more hand holding with 3 gens, but killers are getting nothing for having one hook in a certain part of the map making a hook dead zone so we can't do our objective? Sounds about right BHVR.

Thank god. As someone with bad eyesight this map is hell. And playing on this map as Chucky is so bad.
