New Billy is significantly stronger and uncontrollably fast given the right setup. He’s a ton of fun.

  1. Yea whatever hillbilly's meta again, he was never that bad for the skilled saw users with overheat anyway… Just stupidly nerfed for new or bad players.

Im not upset that billy's meta but what did it cost?

    Space billy: EVERYTHING…..

  2. Scott when Knight exists cos his chase mechanic is "unfun": people should be able to dc

Scott when Billy gets insanely buffed and survivors only counterplay is "run when you don't see him chasing anyone": this is fine cos meme billy lolololololol

do you really not see the hypocrisy?

  3. 12:09 I haven't seen anyone mention this before, but with this new patch, the pitch change that used to happen to indicate that the chainsaw was close to overheating, now changes pitch depending on how much charge you have.
You can clearly tell when you finish charging the chainsaw and it goes from super high pitched, to normal, pre-overheat pitch.

  4. Only nitpick is idk why Hillbilly has an anime-esque blue flame for the chainsaw now, I always generally associate blue with survivors and red/orange with killer so it feels a bit off to me

  5. Cant believe im saying this but i think with the engravings he's too fast. Is it fun and awesome? absolutely but i think people will start to hate playing against him if he keeps the same speed with both speed addons.

  6. as an ex-billy main, this update has truely shocked me. I never thought i would see the day my beloved boy would one day thrive again. and im so, so glad they finally took the L and removed billys garbage fucking overheat mechanic.

  7. I played Hillbilly quite a lot over the past few days to get the "chainsaw 100 survivors" achievement and I had a lot of fun with him (when using the brown addon that increases the overheat limit by 20%) and I never ran engravings because I didn't think I could handle the speed. I'm scared I won't find him fun anymore after the change goes live due to the insane speed he can reach but my god playing against him is going to be awesome, assuming they don't nerf him before release.

  8. i'm a master hillbilly (been playing since i was 15 aka 7 years) and i feel like im a kid again. i hope this update releases as is because i don't think it's overclocked and op, people just have to learn how to play against a reworked killer. i've been wanting to make dbd content for a while besides the stupid meme stuff on this channel and this might be my final nudge to get into it

  9. If he comes out on live like this, when people master him I’m predicting an overwhelming amount of people complaining about him being too oppressive. I could be wrong and that he barely goes up in usage, but if he does people are NOT gonna be happy to go against him before long.

And I’m not sure how I’d feel about that. On the one hand, if you go against an S+ Billy player, it’s gonna feel impossible to avoid him and that’s not fun. But on the other hand, it’s not freely given to him, it requires a lot of practice to get to that point. Both sides are valid and I wonder how and if it’ll damage the game in the future.

  10. I honestly feel like now that Billy can be that fast in Overdrive, they should give him a Wesker-sized terror radius while in overdrive, because it's genuinely crazy how fast he can be on you if you're not careful.
