  1. I think the perk is insane if used in a 4 man swf where everyone uses: wicked, Otr, Ds and Plottwist or Unbreakable
If they use an offering to guarantee basement in shack and a strong map they will make it to shack against most killers and when you feel like the chase is ending you just run down and plotwist or get downed and have unbreakable
And if the Killer hooks you unhook yourself and be protected by otr and ds, if the killer slugs he also will get nothing especially when you use plottwist and if the killer decides to drop chase that other person will also do it

  2. It's in that awkward middle stage of perks where it does what it needs to do, but the situations where it's needed are few and far between. I assume that, like Deliverance, Wicked applies only to first stage (and I never quite understood dedicating a perk to that except in a solo queue streak), so the odds of being put in basement on first hook naturally is fairly low. It's like Boil Over, Solidarity, or Power Struggle, where, yes, it can be useful at times, but their application is niche and necessitates a build and playstyle to force use out of it.

  3. i played a decent amount of time on survivor and i noticed that most of time only trapper and bubba wants to hook in the basement and proxy camp i didnt notice that play style on any other killer…maybe huntress sometimes yeah but its not common

  4. I respectfully disagree scott. It's like two perks in one. It's reassurance and deliverance with a mixture of having to be camped.. I can easily see a Survivor after a strong Loop dropping s h a c k pallet and going down in the basement. They're not going to unhook themselves right away they're going to wait 55 seconds nobody has to go save them, they're Invincible for 55 seconds until they choose to unhook themselves I'm not saying I'm upset I don't play basement killers. I'm just disagreeing with the statement saying it's not going to be powerful it most certainly is and you will definitely see people intentionally running down to the basement to get hooked specifically for that reassurance unhooking value

  5. I think people are overlooking that you'll use this perk in conjuction with the other basement perks that have come out or will come out in future.

The value of Wicked is eliminating as much risk as possible when going to the basement for healing or the invocation.

  6. this perk is also meh because i feel survivors will make it too obvious they're running it like baiting the killer to chase them near basement off spawn or using torn/bloodied blueprint which nobody ever uses anyway, just use deliverance lol

  7. saw a guy in replies say this so im copy pasting what i think is the most realistic view on the perk. ————–

This perk can be used on first chase and forced on the killer by going down in basement as they won't make another hook. This can lead to situations in which the killers first chase may lose them a couple of gens and be made even worse as they will gain absolutely no pressure from their first hook leading to even more gen completion. The perk isn't overpowered, it's problematic like old boil over.

  8. Okay I get your point Scott, but deliverance is one of the best perks in competitive and this Is almost a free deliverance, yea you have to be hooked in the basement, but you can make sure that you are hooked there and all that pressure the killer should be getting for hooking you, he all the sudden doesn't get because you unhooked yourself, I think it has a bunch of potential to be a great perk in my eyes

  9. This perk needs a few changes to see any usage.

    1) You can unhook yourself on the second stage, like the anti-camp mechanic.

    2) It should extend your endurance and haste by 10 seconds.

    3) The other benefits need to apply on all hooks.

  10. It sounds like a stronger version of deliverance honestly. If a survivor is in chase and its going poorly, they can make sure they go down near basement and get a free unhook that will most likely cost the killer a lot of pressure.

Ive played so many survivor games where the killer weak killers get turn a losing match into a 3k or 4k all because they managed to get someone in the basement. If you run this with off the record and dead hard and play with the intent to have your first time in the basement, this can be very strong.

    looking forward to it :3

  11. I feel like this perk will be like power struggle, most killers will innately play around it just in case and the only way you will end up getting use out of it is if you run a build around it and force it
