While streaming Dead by Daylight right after the release of chapter 31 and the new killer the unknown and the new survivor sable ward, I decided to review the perk Strength in Shadows to answer the question, Is Strength in Shadows a good perk? DBD chapter 31, has brought the unknown and sable ward and both are extremely fun to play. She might be the best survivor in dead by daylight. But is Strength in Shadows a strong survivor perk on all the survivor builds? I’ll let you know what survivor builds do well with this perk and go over the best survivor builds and best survivor perks. Is this the best healing perk? This review is part of my survivor perk review series where I give tips and tricks to using perks. Will Strength in Shadows fit into the best survivor builds. This will lead to some salty killers and salty ttv. The Unknown has just been released and people are still learning how to counter The Unknown and his perks, unforseen, unbound, and undone. Sable Wards perks are Strength in Shadows, Invocation: Weaving Spiders, and Wicked.

For more content creators, I’d recommend you also watch channels like JRM and Naymeti. They make some hilarious content. You can also watch creators like Supaalf and Ayrun. A lot can be learned by the way they stream.

Correction: Ideal build would be Strength in Shadows, Windows of Opportunity, Botany Knowledge, and either sprint burst, lightweight, or Iron Will.
I honestly think this might sit in some peoples perks slots for a long time. You not only get a better self care but you are away from the action (usually) in basement and have time to chill.
I would not reccomend iron will with sprintburst
you forgot to mention or suggest or add desperate measures, am not an expert but am trying to do the maths which is 2 of them (desperate measures and botany knowledge) is powerful for you and your teammates healing process. Something like that
Killer: uses Territorial Imperative and hooks you outside of basement every single time
dont you slander my pizza just because you have the tastebuds of the first creature to leave the ocean
fun fact. Not only does it stack with botany, it also stacks with self care. You heal yourself faster than a team mate could ever heal you.
It'd be nice if it revealed the basement…
Hey, great editing on the video !
Strength in shadows is so good tho imo like u can bring año her item other than a medkit which is amazing my go to perk
Self care botany out classes strength in shadows if you don't want to give up 2 perk slots because it'd be quicker than running to basement to heal (and safer) but strength in shadows is stronger if you want to only use 1 perk slot for the self heal.
Nothing is holding anyone from using Self care + Botany. Please please do not use this perk it is just not worth it. You don't need to heal yourself in a match more than usually 3 times. I don't like self care on its own and i don't want to use 2 perk slots so I just go with plot twist
Until it gets nerfed*
Also territorial imperative
I don’t think people will use this, only bad players use self care 😂
If you're wanting to to try and "win chases" and get away while injured to get to use this perk, overcome is a pretty solid exhaustion perk choice. Paired with lucky break if you're planning on bringing indoor map offerings can be super nasty
As a killer main I've been instantly equipping Territorial Imperative any time that I see a Sable in the lobby.
