People constantly saying how low of a mmr bracket you play in is comical. You may not be hens or pro vengence but you have definitely got nice over this last year
By and large I agree. On twitch I watch maybe two people play this just 'cause they meme a lot but on YT I watch stuff for info mostly and that's about it. Whenever I do poke around for others to watch, Twitch mostly, it really is just super chill/safe or people raging over baby shit. I get the chill appeal, it's nice to wind down to. But yeah it would be nice to have more people just having fun with it. If it's gonna be someone's main bread and butter, some more sauce would be nice.
But I also just blame Behavior too to a degree. I've heard a lot of people dropping just due to poor changes that have made the experience not as fun, as well as not listening to the community as much from what I hear, and like you said about having to walk on eggshells as Fog Whisperers and whatnot, I don't blame people for not wanting to put effort into something that just frustrates them.
About the policing though, it's also just really bizarre they'd try policing you at all when all you're doing is having some fun with the game. Theatrics are good. There's so much shit-talking in the fighting game community but all that stays in the game (for the most part) so it by and large just makes things more entertaining. I really just assume they think your style is 'toxic' when really they don't realize it's just for entertainment value. There're so many more worse streamers that go out of their way to go in people's chats and actively harass them or false report and other genuinely malicious things that just get a pass.
Anyway , my scattered thoughts to your scattered thoughts. TL;DR Keep bein' extra.
Bro listening to Otzvarda and many of these other dudes sound the same, never rock the boat and never keep it real about anything. It’s always some pussy PC response and when they play killer they let people get away like a bitch. They literally think it’s toxic to play killer the way you have to in order to win games. They want you to 12 hook and play by some BS rules that only weasels would follow. Outside of you and KingWolfe I wouldn’t watch any DBD content
I know they nerfed locker saves so the timing is different and the killer is more tucked into the locker but they didn’t remove it entirely. I watch Ayrun and I’ve seen him got lots of locker saves lately. That’s why that locker CJ tech was so seamless
Truth be told, I think they did something to killer’s peripheral because it’s easier than ever to get flash blinds. I’ve seen so many survivors blind killers who look into walls/ get lockers grabs so I know they nerfed flashlights but also nerfed killer POV so it’s wider
I def agree the content is stale, the way you approach your audience is refreshing. It’s just a game. If people can’t laugh at a little trash talk they’re taking it too serious. Never seen you actually be toxic. Keep doing u bro

Her content is very similar and enjoyable and gives me hope more just have fun with the game. I suggest checking her out if you want to see a creator having fun playing killer.
