The problem is they do occasionally play killer, just at the lowest possible mmr and they think it's easy because they are matched with people who can't even hit skill checks.
Playing killer makes you better at Survivor and vice-versa; I'm always back and forth with the bloodpoint bonuses, trying to make sure both roles are at the same MMR.
