I don't really follow the comp scene, of any game for that matter, but I must agree on DBD's scene being filled with people absolutely full of themselves.
I remember when I still used to play killer and went against Oracle randomly in pubs and I was fully expecting them to be at the very least – good sports, regardless of the outcome of the game. How surprised I was to see them t-bagging every occasion they got like any other survivor main. That day I lost the very little respect I had for the comp scene.
Then of course, there's bunch of videos showing many other players and teams being that and worse. It's pathetic to see lack of any respect or sportsmanship at the "top level" of the game.
Ran into a 2 player swf, that was upset that me and another random survivor joined and that we weren’t in a swf, so they got upset for whatever reason and left
