Hey everyone, today we’re looking at add-ons that don’t deserve their rarity. They’re high in rarity, but awful. We’re going to cover add-ons green and up. I may do a counterpart later on for add-ons that below green but really good. Keep in mind for this that I’m trying to avoid add-ons I’ve discussed in previous similar videos, so if something really obvious doesn’t appear that’s probably why. Let’s get into it.

  1. Im at 95% sure that you can stop hex cleansing or unhooking with disorted photo, they most of the time dont excpect this add on and in this situations they usually look at your direction. So imo it is not that useless.

  2. I actually disagree, Disfigured Ear doesn’t deserve to be on this list. The Deafened effect is so unique because you can’t hear the killer at all + Rusty Shackles let you play hag like a jumpscare hag because the Survivor loses audio for 6 seconds, can’t see a trap trigger, and then get Jumped by a hag. 10/10 add on

  3. wow what is the point of these add ons especially the killer instinct ones? you see where they are immediately and that short amount of time isn’t going to be noticeable what so ever – I think they just need a rework as they are just simply useless

  4. i tried to make use of BFFs after the legion rework, because it looked fun, after a few games i realized the only moment this'll give you an advantage is when you already are winning because you managed to chain enough stabs to get the 15 tokens (hell most of the times it i had enough tokens to activate it they didn't even make it to endgame).

  5. I'd argue Red Herb deserves to be a green. It's not amazing, but extra seconds spent spraying themselves isn't that bad. In reality, it's just overshadowed by how good Wesker's other addons are.

    Wakizashi Saya is niche, but it's by no means a meme addon.

    While I agree that Scarlet Egg is awful, I HEAVILY disagree with your comment that Killer Instinct addons are garbage overall. The problem is that Killer Instinct never lasts long enough to show just how nasty it can be, since it's a completely uncounterable form of tracking. Imagine if Executioner revealed survivors with Killer Instinct for 60 seconds if they touch a gen. He'd actually be viable.

  6. For when you make your counter-part video: The coxcombed clapper for Wraith is way too good to be a yellow add-on. It basically functions almost exactly like Silent Bell, in that the survivors never know if you're uncloaking nearby or not. Its only drawback is that the survivors do know when you cloak/uncloak.

  7. Here’s the thing with weskers add on the only reason his add ons will never get changed are buffed is cause the man is a top tier killer and probably the only reason red herb is pretty bad also the other reason he just has a lot of slowdown

  8. Pyramid Head honestly needs a whole add-on rework. They are just terrible and lazy. They seriously need to be able to mess with the world more. Hell, I already have a couple cooked up.

    Entity's Black Spike.
    He's learning it's power
    Punishment of the damned gains 2 meters range and leaves Rites of Judgement along its trail
    No longer damages survivors
    New affect: Upon hitting a window or pallet the Entity's Black Spikes wrapped in barbed wire are called forth to block the window or pallet for X seconds.

    Purple
    Barbwire of Punishment
    No good deed goes unpunished.
    Upon hooking a survivor barbwire cover them and the hook. Any survivor who rescues another survivor from a barbed hook will take damage. Sending them to injured if healthy, and deep wounds if injured.
    New Action: Barbed hooks can now be cleansed before rescuing a survivor to remove the barbed wire, allowing to rescue the survivor without taking damage.

    Yellow
    Rusty Barbed Wire
    "Damn it, I just sliced my ankle on that."
    Survivors who walk or run on Torment Trails are inflicted with X% Hindered. This lasts for X seconds after leaving a Torment Trail or crouching.

    While these things are just ideas, we need more shit like this. Stuff that changes up the gameplay or interesting things. Pyramid Head can already do whatever he wants so why not lean into it?

  9. drop of perfume was pretty good before the nemesis chapter when victor could stand on tall structures without being destroyed. you could set him up somewhere high were he couldnt be kicked, pair it with the candelabrum addon to increase his alert range and you have a wide area that makes survivors oblivious when in range.

  10. Now a year ago you made a list like this with one of the add-ons being Obsidian Goblet which belongs to Pyramid Head (The Executioner). I thought of a ways it could be changed which resulted in my one change for the add-on.
    Rather than Obsidian Goblet giving the Undetectable status effect when you stand in a trail of torment for a short time, you instead are able to see the aura of a Cage of Atonement. It is such a simple change yet can do so much for the killer. It gives you the location of the caged survivor, if that survivor is freed you know the whereabouts of the 2 if not potential 3 survivors, and if you so wanted you can go to said cage and have it be transported to the opposite side of the map to stall for extra time.
    I know players could locate the cage themselves using their current location as an example but hey, it's better then a worse Insidious.

  11. Please do a video ranking the most 'toxic' killers, I think it'd be a bit silly. I always find that in my games huntress, legion and wesker players are usually very toxic but pig, Nemesis and ghostface players are just very goofy and friendly

  12. There is stragedy to use Red Herb and Hoarder. If you see someone pick up first aid spray, just charge toward it and they cannot finish the cleansing for spray since the the time is too long then you can 1 charge grab them even if they are full health.

BFFS amazing concept but as you said its just a bit underwhelming. you are either winning to where it doesnt go off or you dont get enough tokens for that to happen. i remember reading it for the first time and thinking "man that is quite strong" but then actually played with it and its just too much of "things need to fall into place" type.

  14. The return to the husk Spirit addon combined with her addon that activates killer instinct when survivors get near the husk is one of my favorite meme builds. I call it the “we have Dredge at home” build.
