  1. I'm having a hard time playing survivor. So many killers tunnel and proxy for a kill, so I end up trading so my friends can escape, and the complaining about the Meta is terrible. "Oh, you're running NOED" "Oh, well, you brought a key" "Well you had ruin" "And you had DS" It's getting so bad killers now whine about Brand New Parts and survivors whine about any add-on for killer that's purple rarity or higher.

  2. People whined on and on and on about old matchmaking, this is the result. I'll never understand why you would want this game to be geared towards more serious competitive play. High-rank sweaty Dead by Daylight is simultaneously the most frustrating/stressful and yet also the most boring PVP experience I have ever had. This game is a janky RNG-heavy asymmetrical meme machine. It is NOT built for competitive play. At high ranks you see the same exact strategies employed again and again. Survivors hold forward and pre-drop pallets, bring the same four perks every game. Killers tunnel the weak link out early, defend 3-gens and bring nothing but Ruin + Undying and Pop as a backup, with NOED to net them free kills. It's awful, it's not fun for anyone.

  3. Funniest part is, since the MMR has a cap, and not even a high one, they’ve essentially just remade the ranking system but invisible since even mediocre players can once again reach the cap with enough playing.

  4. i would love to see a weekend where theres no slowdown perks and no exhaustion perks. cause right with sbmm i feel like im not playing against other people, just against these perks

  5. I think many of these killer mains are realizing they are not as good as previously thought going against survivor mains who are better. I am real enough with myself to see that I am going against a lot tougher killers as a survivor main and I am not as good as I thought. Everyone seems to run meta now all the time so a lot more killers are proxy camping those hooks and tunneling at 5 gens where most never did that before. SBMM has made the game so much more unenjoyable.

  7. What I see is toxic and/or entitled streamers complaining they don't have an easy-peazy time killing people anymore, and as a reaction, play as sweaty competitive and aggressively as they can. If anything, this is proof that BHVR decided right not listen to the loudest voices, because they clearly are the ones who'd complain either way.

  8. Hard to take the opinion of sometone talking about meta when they run NOED. He didn't even go against a single unbreakable, and only one dead hard. I mean someone was running selfcare ffs, which is great, the survs spend like 45 seconds doing nothing…

  9. I don't understand most of the complaints. It's not like there was any perk variety in Red Ranks before and SBMM hasn't changed that. I think players are just trying to find something to complain about because they're no longer getting put up against potatoes every game. Nothing has changed. Both sides still run the strong perks and you get the occasional memer that doesn't and ends up suffering in the match because of it. I do agree that SBMM has no place in a game like DBD and thankfully, the implementation here is so half-assed that it's mostly identical to the old system but most of the complaints here stem from players actually being decent now and perk bloat, which has a problem for a long time.

  10. So I started to play huntress on killer side. Old systems I made it to rank 5 from 20 cause I had a lot of hoarded perks from months and months of not playing killer. (Survivor main) Since I play on controller I bit harder for me to hit those hatchets at a higher skill (cross map, through window) I have ruin but I don't really run it. Each game feels like I'm getting Gen rushed every single game during the first generator…. then I find myself trying not to tunnel and camp yet I find myself doing that cause once I end the first chase there's already two gens popped. Try to keep it going and not do that but ffs is hard.

  11. Literally MMR is an invisible number, there is no merit to having a high MMR, just play fucking normal and if you lose your MMR drops, who the fuck cares, you'll get easier games like you want right? The DBD community are the ones ruining MMR, not the existence of MMR itself.

  12. I know its off topic but I bought the Stranger Things DLC and its in my library now but I couldnt download it due to my PC (its getting fixed now)
So when Stranger Things DLC gets removed from the game can I still download it since I already bought it?

  13. Before mmr I was a nemesis main, I loved playing him his power felt satisfying the zombies felt rewarding to utilise properly and his chase music made him feel great to play. I played him all the way to rank 1 from I think around rank 10 he was pretty much the only killer I played even during the mmr test that they had before its indefinite inclusion. I was able to use any build I wanted and actually enjoyed myself and played well. I can't play him anymore. Its torture. It started me at such a high mmr because of the fact i played him alot and now its put me at way to high an mmr to be able to actually play my favourite killer for fun. I am FORCED to sweat every fucking game with the same build and add-ons every. Fucking. Time to even have a CHANCE at "enjoying" myself. This game isn't ready for mmr. Its got far to many problems that have yet to be even recognised by bhvr.

  14. I feel like I predicted this I always made very toxic and meta builds for every killer and tested and knew they rewarded toxic plays but I never used them (also did this for survivor) now I see these builds are the only thing that get results and honestly in the past I felt bad but now I never do and I even put on maps that specifically benefit me because that is what this game now demands hence why I quit but I still feel horrible for people who can't quit (because they get paid to play) seriously it's pathetic and the devs should be ashamed

  15. All killers feel like facade's, Tru3 is right. Killers are designed to jot be strategically advantageous, rather, to give the survivors the illusion of getting caught and failing. Killers only succeed if survivors make dumb mistakes.

This game is gonna run itself into the ground with the falling player count and ridiculously niche meta at top ranks. Everyone is gonna stop enjoying it and move onto VHS because the VHS devs actually play and care about their game, and the game is made for fun, not for money

  16. Controversial opinion: streamers are entitled gamers who cry every time they have to try a little bit. Almost every crybaby streamer in this video 4kd while complaining and that last guy complained about meta perks when only one guy had a meta build. If you dont like mmr personally, thats fine, but I hope anybody reading this is smart enough to make thier own opinions and look at the facts, these streamers are children sometimes.

  17. Since mmr killers tunnel to get a quick kill more often, honestly playing as killer I kinda understand why they do that is not funny getting more than 3 gens in less than 4min

  18. I have been playing the game on and off since release, and I can honestly say that if MMR stays intact then I am finally on my way out. I am not having fun anymore. The whole reason I have stayed as long as I have is because of the casual aspect. I have no interest in every single game being ultra competitive and sweaty. When a game becomes a chore to play, all fun goes out the window. The old matchmaking was LIGHT YEARS better.
