  1. There is one asym called identity V. It’s basically a Chinese/family friendly version of dbd and it’s on mobile. I think it still has a decent fan base (even though most of them are below the age of 15)

  2. I still personally think VHS has a long way to go before it is worth calling it a success

It's more like it's hanging in on life support with a oxygen mask of copium

It isn't a bad game but they focus way to hard on balance rather then fun and they keep taking aspects of DBD that shouldn't be in a game that is more similar to counter strike or apex then dbd

Also the mere existence of the eye and shocksphere is a issue and it baffles me people call them balanced when really it's literally just a free stigma as long as you have more then 2 brain cells

Plus monster is punished heavily meanwhile teens have a lot of second chances (one example being I dodged almost all of a teens sword swiped but the last 2 got me despite me dodging 11 outta 13 projectiles)

  3. I haven’t played it, but personally I really like VHS’s colourful 80s aesthetic. I mean, I will admit it’s not exactly scary and the teens, and some of the monsters, do fall into their typical tropes, but it just released so it’s not a big deal.

  4. Propnight still exists and has some promising mechanics if you are just there to have fun. I really like your video's and lore deep dives but I feel that like the Mikaela video it isn't being very subjective and puts a blanket statement to just label it as dog s- and limits the growth in the gaming category.

  5. I definitely agree with you on the monster stuff for VHS. Personally, I think the easier they make it to learn monster, the better the game will be. I know a lot of people are saying the game is dead, but from what I've seen and heard from the devs, they seem genuinely intent on addressing the biggest problems, which makes me almost certain the game will stick around and improve. It still definitely has a lot it can improve on, but I have faith that it will end up improving in the way it needs to.

You have also been making me super interested in the evil dead game lol. I was avoiding it for the time being mostly due to budget, but I might seriously consider grabbing it during a sale or something if what you say is true. I'm glad to hear you speak so honestly about a game you really enjoy, and it makes me much more inclined to play it. As always, amazing content!

  6. I have such a grudge against wesker. The thing is

    Spoilers for Resident evil 5

If they used the uroboros Mutation wesker, I could've tolerated it, but as it stands, it just isn't my cup of tea, both in lore accuracy and gameplay. Sure, one can tell "Cope" and call it a day, but i'm a nitpick when it comes to accuracy, and wesker is, in my opinion, not implemented well. His Power is..more questionable than anything else. I mean, he is known for dodging gun bullets. I thought they could do something like the nurse, teleporting around. It's a thought that just came out of the top of my head, so take it with a grain of salt. Overall, I have a love/hate relationship with dbd's wesker. I love that he is here and I hate how he's not lore accurate like nemesis

  7. No one is saying that Wesker is one of the best designed killers ever, his implementation is literally going down as the worst killer launch apart from Twins lol

  8. Evolve died less due to a lack of support, and more due to issues with the publisher. The balancing was pretty shakey there at though, yeah. Doesn't help that TRS wasn't the most experienced developer.

Last Year (as far as I understand it) died because one of the devs almost died from sickness and couldn't afford to make the game anymore because they didn't have a publisher. The Discord exclusive bit was only the half of it.

Predator: Hunting Grounds has the unique benefit of not necessarily needing the power role to be a functioning game. Sure, the game isn't as fun if you never encounter the Predator, but the game doesn't tell you if there's nobody filing that role, so the tension is still there.
The game's a bit iffy otherwise though, I'll admit. S'fun, though–that's the important part, in my book.

  9. You hit the nail on the head with Kandar–I flat uninstalled about a week after. My demon queues hit about 20, 25 minutes shortly after they "fixed queue times" and my games were either 2 minute stomps on people who just installed because they were having fun exploring the map or I felt utterly useless 90 seconds in because they were already geared. I'll watch streamers but I still haven't come back, even if I do admit this patch looks fantastic.

  10. It was not so bad about evil dead the game. Although it is true, that demons clearly were strugling balance wise, it is much bigger problem, that people went into match as demon, were stomped here and there and people just quit the demon role, instead of overcoming the hardships and learn how to play demon efficient and correctly. Prior the september update you could have won as demon most of your matches, by the way.

  11. I gotta be honest I have not been playing dbd for a while, I took a break and something happened with my console that doesn’t allow me to play it anymore and evil dead is just so good, but I do miss playing it and I do wish to play wesker, but I am having a lot of fun with evil dead that it’s my new favorite game I’ve been playing

  12. I'd like to see an A-Sym that's one survivor vs. multiple killers/monsters/etc. Call it… idk, Hunted?

…or do two survivors vs. multiple monsters and do Abbot and Costello Meet the Monsters.

  13. I always want to play Evil Dead the game, but its one I just can't convince most of my friends to jump on board with, especially because with it being an epic store exclusive game most are pretty loyal to steam.

  14. I find Wesker to be VERY fun to play against. His power feels good when you dodge it and gives you just enough time to get around a corner or move away without feeling like you gain a bunch of distance if he misses. As long as he's not in the open when he misses haha
