  1. I find stealth to be the best way to counter Nurse and Spirit. The additional time spent just trying to find you before a chase even begins really adds up and can cost them the game. Had a Spirit come look for me at the same gen over and over on Rotten Fields since she knew someone kept coming back to tap the gen but it took her leaving and coming back three times before she finally found me and even began to chase me. Overall time including the two hits needed during the chase to down me and then hook me easily cost her close to three minutes for just one hook. Three escapes total in a solo red rank against one of the strongest killers in the game and I didn't even have to be good at looping to waste a ton of her time. I got hatch via the Rainbow Map during the endgame. Spine Chill OP even against Prayer Beads.

  2. I don’t think stunning the Nurse with a pallet counts as ‘counter play’. That’s nothing specific to the Nurse, in fact she’s arguably the hardest killer to stun, and even then she can recover from it fairly quickly. That’s like saying you can ‘counter play’ survivors by hitting them with your weapon, that’s just a generic element of the game.

I understand that she suffers a slightly longer stun animation (assuming she blinked), but the speed at which she can catch up to you after kind of compensated. It’s not exactly reliable advice.
