Hey everyone, today we’re looking at five more unsolved mysteries in Dead by Daylight.
Chapter 22 has been released on the 5.4.0 PTB. With this chapter we have a new killer, The Artist, a new survivor, Jonah Vasquez, and a new map, Eyrie of Crows, part of the new Forsaken Boneyard realm. It looks great, and I’m very excited!

9:22 another possbile theory could be that the entity just want variety so it doesn´t get stale for the killers/survivors and it can feed longer on their emotions or maybe it just changes its mind on some things or invents new ideas and then want just introduces them
Maybe the reason why the entity doesn't take alot of people is that it could be hard to sustain multiple survivors/killers at once but over time it can add more due to it getting more power. It also might be because the entity has a taste and choose certain people for flavor.
I think survivors can visit the towers to get quests. The entity allows this to go on to give survivors hope, just to take it away. I also think the original survivors knew Vigo before he left. I really hope they bring him back as a playable character some day. I honestly think BHVR writes lore and just forgets about it.
i think vigo is blight but in the past
The question how time works leads me back to one question I ask myself a lot: why are there killers like Plague and Oni who originate from the far past, but all survivor seem to be from at least the 20th century?
I would have found it far more interesting if some survivor are medieval peasants or of historic settings
I think it just grabs whatever he wants like in old Blight cutscene as he walks passed the hallow shell of people but due to gameplay reasons too many DLC characters. We don't see them but they can be in another pocket dimension that we never see
I have a theory on the time mystery that builds on yours and explains some mysteries. Just like your theory, the Entity's realm is set at one point in time, and it reaches into any point in time that has already happened to grab its killers and survivors. However, in the Entity's realm, time isn't just nonlinear. It's stopped. The sun and moon never move, any plant that grows in the trial grounds never withers away, no corpse in maps like Dead Dawg decompose further, and no survivor or killer has aged since they entered the realm. Not a single survivor has even grown more facial hair, even in their prestige cosmetics (which I theorize represent the survivor being bloody and messy from their consecutive streaks of escapes). All of these seem to imply that time isn't moving in the Realms. Why can't he grab from the future, though? Well…
The way I see it is that time normally moves like a train. Each point in time is a landmark outside of the train, but everyone experiencing time is stuck inside the train, forever moving a constant speed on a set path. You enter the train at birth and leave the train at death. The Entity's Realm is set up outside of the train at the landmark of November, 1896. The Entity itself can move fast, far faster than the train, and it uses that to quickly find people in different cars of the train and different stops on its path to take into its realm. However, it cannot change the train's path or speed. Additionally, if someone hasn't "been on the train" yet (hasn't lived yet), then the Entity cannot see what they have done or why they would be fit for the Realm. THIS IS WHY IT DOESN'T GRAB FROM THE FUTURE. If you are yet to be born, it can't see what you have done in life to make you fit for the Realm, since you haven't "been on the train" and haven't experienced life.
TLDR: Time doesn't move in the Entity's realm. The Entity can see anything that has already happened and act accordingly, but cannot see into the future because the Entity isn't capable of manipulating the normal flow of time.

Hey, i had a question for you. What perks would you like to have if you were actually in the entity realm ?
I'm curious, Could a Killer or survivor somehow be born within the Entity's realm?
I think nea is supposed to be futuristic since she dropped in 2016 and that concept art stuff was labeled 2021.
Back when i was 8 i really wanted to know the lore of dbd, i was a beginner and when i was 10 i thought blight is vigo. But now im almost 12,and i still have no idea. I think the 3 guys(vigo, the observer and the other guy that knew something about the realm) could have done some things in the realm. Like the golden toolboxes, i dont think they are hidden in the maps for no reason. I think they or atleast vigo tried something to do with these golden toolboxes, like having these boxes to escape the realm. Its a theory and i think that im wrong
"How does time work in the Entity's Realm?"
People assume that time is a strict progression between cause and effect but its actually more like a big ball of wIbBilY WobBiLY TimEy wImey. . . StUFf
Sometimes I like to wonder that The Entity has emotion and when the Gates are powered that the Entity gets mad and starts a countdown to do the killing it self.
Edit: But one thing would be to change the endgame collapse animations based off the map. Here is an example:
Red Forest – The simple quiet rain becomes a violet thunderstorm with lightning hitting a random tree setting it ablaze.
Coldwind Farm – The sun a beautiful— Why is there a Black Hole coming out… Turning the day to night in an instant
Day 8 of asking for every killer's feet ranked

@azhymovs or anyone know what music it is around 2:20? I would really like to check it out more.
Mentioning Hawkins laboratory, I like to think that the Mindflayer almost…. Took its home back? In regards to the demogorgon, he is just one of many so maybe the Mindflayer just left him behind but overpowered the entity and stole Hawkins back.
6:57 I honestly think there’s more people in the Entity’s realm that we just never see. The fifty or so playable characters are just the ones we actually know of. The Void is a sub-realm where drained Survivors are. There’s got to be a few thousand people in the realm, but we just don’t know about them like how we know of Meg, Dwight, Nea, Trapper, Oni, Spirit, Claudette, etc.
I personally think that a HUGE amount of people are in the realm. Bhvr just can't add all characters into the game. You can see quotes of unknown characters in some non teachable perks
I thought Nea was from the future? Like 2024 or 2026
So close to 100k!
When the game is balanced it means the entity was heavily favoring one side, meaning it wasn’t gaining as much emotion as survivors felt helpless and killers were getting bored
Very impressive! But can you make a video about killers what music they would listen.
Best 2 killer teams.
Theory-ish: The Entity has 100s of realms, not just thirty or so. It’s like The Entity has multiple of the same realm. It’s like the The Entity switches around which realm the survivor or killer goes to each round, even if they go to the same map. That’s why we get different people each time, and why multiple people can have games going at once . (Mine “theory” sounds very confusing 🥲🥲).
I'm a bit late to this one but according to the devs and a few bits of info found online that the devs pointed to, it is suggested that time works in a normal sense. Time does pass regularly, you can actually count how much time (down to the minute) has passed in the realm, but the problem is that it requires a constant method requiring a watch or pocket watch, a pencil, paper, and constant watching. There lies the problem in that people are being pulled into trials so they can't always keep a steady track of time. It's also speculated that time relates to the different realms and where the influence is being pulled from like the saloon in the 1800s in the west for example, hence why nobody knows what the time really is.
“How does time work”
normally except around holidays when the entity cleans up and decorates
My question is what is the bloodweb in the realm like we've seen what it looks like by the charm but how does it work physically where do the items and perks come from within the realm
Another question is why don't the survivors simple teach eachother the perks or abilities they have outside of trials
maybe observer is vigo who didn’t escape just locked himself into his tower?
So theoretically, Nancy, Steve, Jonathan, and demogorgon are the first to fall into that “void”….right?
Something I find interesting is that killers and survivors can interact with glyphs, but what are these to the survivors and killers and what do they do to them
I dont think that there are just 50 survivor and killers in cannon but i think that they just have 50 of them playable millions are just there but are just not available to the game
The entity is essentially getting a higher budget 😂
Thinking about it, what happened to the other Observers and how are they "chosen"?
its stated in the lore that talbot found vigos journal in a lab while exploring the realms and trials. So vigo had already left way before talbot got into the trials.
Ok so this might seem weird but vigo is presumably a survivor and the offering salty lips as a luck lips like those on human what if vigo found a way to get out by tricking the entity by killing other survivors this might seem really weird but idk
Do you ever hope there is going to be more variations to already existing maps like the doctor or legions
Real close to a 100k
What if the Entity isn't in full control of the realm? Like it has great influence, but not total power. I like to think that the Entity exists within the dimension as its main occupant and ruler, but it's already shown that it isn't all knowing or even all powerful. The observer has shown he can keep the entity out of his tower, despite being trapped there himself, so it makes me think the dimension in which the game takes place isn't under the Entity's full control.
I thought the clock in the thumbnail was a crew mate from Among Us at first lol
