  1. I think there is a better way to present your opinions without criticizing perks people like. Perhaps giving a build combo for certain perks to maximize their value? Or showing how other perks do the job of certain perks better? A lot of the points you made are subjective in nature, and your experience with the game isnt going to be like anyone else's. self care botany combo can be really strong against the hit and run play style. Decisive Strike and OTR are almost imperative to pair with deliverance. Maybe going into the numbers of certain perks to show why they can be a noob trap or which situations you can end up in if you take a perk over another? Maybe delve into the killer's perspective on how they might play against survivors running certain build, or how to counter particularly strong builds. You're given 4 perk slots, yet you talk as if you can only have 1 equipped at a time. I think the idea behind your video is interesting, but was executed poorly. I would focus the attention of the video away from the negative controversy it'll spark and instead promote a constructive criticism of the survivor playstyle.

  2. You lost me on my fav perk Autodidact bruh 😢

But fr I get what you mean, very rarely but I have my friend help by being no mother and plot twist to stack it to 5, it's very cheap yes but gets the job down, I hardly do that cause I want to earn them legitimately and fair 😊

  3. The first thing I'd like to say is Autodidact isn't overrated. It's a niche, low tier perk. No one has ever said it was great or anything.

But the main thing I wanted to say is Decisive Strike is not overrated. It is a good perk.
You compare it to Off the Record in it's ability to anti-tunnel, and you don't see the pros and cons of each. 60 seconds is a LONG TIME for the Killer to tunnel you. If you don't hit them with it, you wasted enough time. Off the Record can activate multiple times, but let's say the first time you get tunneled and the killer hits you after 20 seconds and now they know you have it. Next time they'll either hit you off hook so it's gone ASAP, or they'll ignore you. DS they only get hit with once, but that time is so much more valuable compared to the Endurance effect. Plus some killers just don't care about endurance and any killer with STBFL is gonna LOVE you.

They are each good anti-tunnel, I don't think there's a clear better one, both do it differently, both are good.

  4. The most overrated surv perk is 1000% windows. Its a good perk but people say that it is one of the best in the whole game which is far from the truth as even though its info is strong it dosent have any game changing effects and id rather run something else thats more potent like deja, hope, otr, dh, a healing perk, etc.
Also ftp is amazing and honestly underrated i never see anyone use it

  5. personally i run autodidac and solidarity almost every game, and i get at least 4 stacks per game, plus the fact that if im injured i can basically insta heal with autodidac and get 70 percent healed myself with solidarity super strong

  6. Disagree big time with wicked , that’s one of the most underrated perks , it’s such a huge time waster for killer and a huge time saver for survivors , just work on gens close to basement and it’s ridiculously powerful with otr and resurgence

  7. Self- care , Botany Knowledge and Bond completely changes the game.

No killer could counter this and the bonus is if you are a good looper, soon the killer is going to be fixated on you and weaker players can just focus on the gens.

Beat Myers at Hawkins with scratch mirror and another killer went mad when two players on the team had it. 😅

  8. Also I'm wondering why do people keep bringing no mither with invocation? Like I see it so much whenever I'm killer and see no mither I instantly go to basement and see someone doing it almost every time

  9. "flashbang" saying its easier to save with flashlight and calling it a poormans flashlight goes to show how little you actually put time into evaluating values.

Firstly you can save from sides not just the front, its a cone, apposed to the much more narrow side shoulder saves that you still have to be in the front of the killer for, with flashlights. Flashbangs also can go for against wall pickups. Flashlights cannot. Both have their versatility and take a skill curve. I encourage you to actually understand a perk before simply throwing the "overated" saturation on it like it means anything.

  10. I agree but I am surprised you didn’t mention specialist. I stopped playing with a friend because I can’t stand it that she has to always use that perk insisting she is helping when I can see her allowing gens to regress while she is running around messing with chests. Just get in the gen and stop wasting the perk slot. The pay out is not worth the time to gain tokens

  11. I do not understand why flashbang is in this list.
Personally, regardless of quality of the perk, ive very rarley even seen anyone who uses it. the only times i recall seeing it in my PMs are me myself and I for stupid reasons. and a noob who recently got leon. as the killer i may have gotten flash banged in like 1 through 9 (/the singlal digits) amount of times.
I don't see it being overrated if its not used frequently.

  12. For the people is amazing for trading pressure. Imo this game is all about time and pressure and the ability to decided when pressure needs to be allocated to me over someone else at the snap of a finger has created amazing clutches out of the jaws of defeat. It has incredible synergy with plot twist as you can 99% your plot twist till when broken is gone then be fully healed for another ftp play if needed, I run this combo with med kit to keep healthy at all times and I find it very useful. I never use it when the killer isn't pressuring my normal team heal as i hate forcing value.

One perk I believe is slept on a bit is mirror illusion because people use it in weak situations like putting it on their gen when the killer patrols them so they swing into it. I use it as a chase breaker for my team, I put it on gens, totems, chest NEARBY a chase happening with a teammate then leave. Then the killer sees the illusion peripherally and swings into it allowing my teammate more distance or escaping entirely meanwhile I'm across the map unhooking or healing or gening while winning a chase for my teammate indirectly. You have to be very mindful how you place it on gens, sometimes you want it blatant sometimes you want an angle that obscures it so its less obvious.

Also cut loose and the cat perk is kinda fun when you pull it off. Vault window, blind killer if they follow, run right past him and vault again, chase over lol

  13. Here’s a layout
First off, this list is 100 percent opinion based
Alert- is probably the most underrated aura perk on survivor and can be used extremely effectively to avoid the killer
Fogwise is purely a skill perk, if you are really good at hitting great skill checks, this perk is insane
Autodidact is incredible at healing others and works for the team
Background player is a build specific perk, not a chase perk
Each of these perks correspond with a specific build, just like a chase build would. If you want value then build around them. Background player goes really good with ftp and buckle up just like flashbang goes well with champion of light and residual manifest. They are all useful and definitely not overrated.

  14. Weaving spiders is only best in swfs & atleast 2 people have to have perk & be in basement for it to actually make a difference & worth running also I can agree with this list & your reasonings to why you put them in the spots you put em

  15. Alert giving you killer position is great and the dead zone could be more important end of match when few pallets are left. Honestly just love alert. It's not that it's the best, but can't imagine a world where it is overrated
