Why do you constantly say how crazy it is that people were saying wraith was one of the weakest killers. It isnt crazy that people thought that at all, before the buff he moved a tiny bit faster in cloak and was still just an m1er who could take away his terror radius.

He was bad without add ons. Hes playing him after his buff with two of his better/best add ons.

wraith definitely has fantastic add-ons, but before I felt like him with 0 add-ons was underwhelming. Without windstorm, he doesn't have the 4v1 pressure or that boost for 1v1, and he without add-ons he couldn't use bell sound or all-seeing add-ons which hinder his performance a lot. He always had good add-ons, but now even his base kit is really good. The entire time, I thought that wraith was just on the cusp of being really strong even without add-ons and now you can pick up any combination of add-ons and all of them make him more fun and better in general, while also being very viable without add-ons. I think more killers need to have wraith's design of interesting AND powerful add-ons that improve on a base power that is strong in it's own right. Not being able to teleport and ignore the game and kill everyone in milliseconds like nurse makes it difficult for him to compete against the top 1% tournament team with perfect communication, but the very top of dbd is completely absurd and is almost unbalanceable without ruining games for most people (in my opinion).

I've played this game since its Beta release. While I've always known Wraith was stronger than people gave him credit for, and while I've always hoped he'd become more popular, I never dreamed he'd be nearly this viable one day.
These videos are making me wanna pick this game back up. Wraith has always been one of my favorite killers to play as and go up against.
I don't think Wraith is particularly weak, but i do think most survivors don't know how to play against him. Running straight and letting him block you is a common mistake, you can use it against him and use misdirection so he'll try to get ahead of you to a place you're not actually going to.
Waiting for him at pallets is also a common mistake, it may seem like you have to because he gets a speed boost after uncloaking but the uncloaking itself slows him down a lot and you can use that time to get to the furthest end of the loop where he cant get you.
I'm not a particularly good survivor, but playing against wraith doesn't make me nervous at all.
I've fallen in love with wraith. Just had my first 4k against a red rank swf on haddonfield using the hit and run play style I learned from watching tru. He's such a fun killer now.
These wraith vids got me into playing killer again. Now I’m a wraith main and went from rank 19 to 8 in about 3 days with a few hours playtime each. He’s right up there with other “top tier killers” imo

wrath is the best killer in the game right now. Nurse and Spirit both take some real skill to play. Wrath can be piloted by a rank 13 and they can dominate. Getting a hit on someone and peeling off to go disrupt a gen isn't hard for Wrath to do where most other killers struggle.
Wraith is good at killing newer players, but when surv know what a pallet is and how safe which pallet is, you can't do anything. Look at how this Nea approached the first chase for example, walking like she has SB but she doesnt, then pretending to go into shack but just leaving it for no clear reason to die in 3 seconds.
Then we go to the second survivor you hit, kate, she camped a pallet right next to the chase, and after you hit her she wasted it immediately. For some reason she was waiting for you in a dead zone 2 meters away from the pallet she just wasted so you could down her too in 3 seconds.
An then at 2:17 that Nea just ignores a pallet to die in the open.
2:45 meg doing nothing usefull and crouching in a corner go ask for a bodyblock.
The ace at 4:32 is the only player who actually knows something about looping and you see that he is wasting a shitload of your time.
At 5:00 Nea is misplaying heavily again, by not using the sprint burst from the hit and going up the harvester instead.
Wraith doesn't need any buffs or nerfs he's in a pretty good place right now. I can see why people can get tilted by any killer the game is a tilting game.
Plus most survivors that play aren't efficient and don't know how to counter killers powers.
But essentially wraith is very fair. You just have to be aware of where he is before he uncloaks and be careful to not let him body block you.
I enjoy playing against wraith.
Tru3 he got buffed now, that made him much much better. He used to be meh… (maybe decent with add ons). You had to use a bell add on and windstorm. Now you have more freedom when picking add ons. You can use ANY purple, maybe even mixing them with greens. Built in windstorm made him 10x more dangerous

The extra speed is massive.
And the new lunge is so crazy.
It's basically an anti-loop ability, because survivors can't really camp pallets. Even staying at a LT loop is dangerous, because Wraith can just uncloak in the center of it and catch you so fast.
They also buffed his Stealth so that you can sneak up more easily, without getting called out from the distance.
Besides that, now Tru3 mostly plays his super busted All-seing Blood add-on, which he didn't do before the latest changes.
No, Wraith doesn't have a lots of strong add-ons.
The silent bell is still very strong. And the All-seing Blood was very strong before his latest buff as well. BTW the combination ist super busted.
People know that without you telling them. It's rather obvious, because these are bis high rarity add-ons and not only changing some numbers, but the base mechanics.
Before the buff, his Windstorm add-ons were very strong as well, kind of a neccessaty. Now they don't really do much.
The faster vault + pallet break add-ons are kinda nice too. But nothing to crazy. Just like his green Mangled status effect add-on.
The rest of his add-ons are mediocre. Faster disappearance and faster reappearance doesn't really change anything.
Blindness is useless.

You usually have some pretty logical takes, but this is a hard miss. Not only are you running the best addons, and are stacked with gen defense, but just rewatch the first couple of minutes. Do these survivors strike you as anything but borderline braindead? It took them almost 6 minutes to do the first gen. If you are trying to counter the narrative that the Wraith sucks, this doesnt do it. Any killer is viable at red ranks, and I think any killer could have dominated this group with a relative strength setup.
This killer was one of the weakest, about 12 months ago you agreed, you have videos on your channel talking about how hes D tier, and that's fine he got buffed and hes stronger again, but lets be fair Tru3, i love your content but you definitely do follow popular narratives, you play pretty much the same 4 perks on every killer with slight deviation of dropping discordance for tinkerer.
Wraith is not OP. He's much better though. If they nerf Wraith, they are favoring survivors since after so long Wraith was pretty weak. The lunge does throw some loops off-kilter, so be prepared for it and don't expect to play the same way you'd against other killers. I don't get how the all seeing is busted when it only works within 12 meters and you can hear survivors from that distance. It certainly gives an edge but the only loop it helped with was the jungle gym and those are really strong loops when played correctly. It speeds up finding survivors. Wraith without add-ons is okay but kind of weak so if anything he'd be balanced needing add-ons to be a threat to high tier teams.
I have written this once already but I must repeat it. I reeaally appreciate your attitude. Most of the time you are absolutely serious about your mechanics and survivors you are playing against. This is very high quality content. Keep it up.
All-Seeing addon is completely broken. No excuses for it.
@true talent in response to your jump scares Myers hacking video recently. I’d say yes…. I’ve recently found out a build that makes Myers ridiculously fast. His stalking speed add ons stack (jewelry and jewelry box I believe) if you don’t look at survivors while in chase you catch up almost as fast as a cloaked wraith I haven’t tried it with play with your food but with that fully maxed I bet he’d be almost as fast as a hillbilly during sprint
Wraith has been so much better since his quality of life update. He is ion such a good spot now, i don't think you need add ons anymore to play it. Before it felt required that you have at least a windstorm on.
i really love that True ist talking about stuff others dont want to talk about. However its getting kinde annoying. Basically every video is about how overpowered SWF is or how people dont see counterplay in some killers or how wraith is stronger than people think…i wish the topic would switch or at least the arguments would switch

I have retired from dead by daylight only because my eye is no longer good enough but I can safely say this game is highly addictive especially when you watch the truetalent makes me really wanna give it ago again massive respect to the Channel 💪

Wraith has the best addon diversity of any killer. No matter what you put on changes how you play the game and it's just switching addons is enough to spice up the gameplay in new ways.

As some one who plays a lot of wraith the aura reading is very strong. You know where they’re going to move to on a loop. With out these add ons he’s good with this combo he’s amazing.
To Truetalent-as a streamer, as a human, as an entertainer or whatever you consider yourself, teacher or etc. There WILL be people who talk, who will disagree, who will bitch about literally everything and all I have to say is that you handle it very well and to keep pushing forward. You not only open my eyes to the game with showcase-ings and whatnot, but you also show how to deal with people who even when you show the evidence, will not consider it even then.
