  1. Medkits at the end of the day are still gonna be a lot more problematic than CoH (as they've always been), and deserved to be looked at way more since it doesn't take a perk slot while CoH does. The way I look at it, if someone takes CoH instead of just a yellow medkit with bandages that's one less DS/UB/Iron Will/BT/etc. which is just a less optimal build, especially since on average you usually only need like one or two heals per match.

Now CoH and all the other healing perks stacking for ludicrously fast heal speeds (along with separate CoH totems stacking on top of each other) and the range of boons are definitely a problem, but CoH on its own definitely isn't imo.

  2. Why do you even need to make a video about this? The survivor heal 90% faster. Why bring We'll make it at all? Go back to rest boi you need it and so do all those peopel who have been outraged by a video title.

  3. these new perks dont need a nerf. what they need is killers to get a QoL update towards hex.
allow killlers to place there hex where they choose to and replace the hex when they want to
also all hexed and dull and boon totems should be highlighted for the killer when in range
hence making totem control on maps a whole new side objective towards totem control
come on guys boon perks just blossomed a whole new chapter!!!!

  4. I'm leaning into the Otz idea instead of mine. It should be limited to X uses per match, like 1 or 2.
My old idea was: it breaks itself if the survivor who put it goes out of range (28m).

Either way, they have to nerf the uses, not the actual effect.

  5. Some fun numbers to further illustrate how silly these perks are:

Area: Scott actually misspoke when he said that two players with the perk create a 56m rectangle/Venn diagram. In reality, the perk has a 28 metre *radius*, so two totems perfectly placed would create an area that's 112 metres at its widest point. To put it in perspective how huge that is, if 4 survivors all run the perk, and somehow find totems that don't have any overlapping or out of bounds boon area, the amount of ground these totems cover is equivalent to the **entire Mount Ormond map**.

Time efficiency: some try to rationalize the strength of the perk by saying that the setting time of the boon balances the strength. Even discounting the arguments about setting it by a finished gen giving it even more time value, a vast majority of the time you get the time back literally immediately. It's so efficient, that if you have two survivors that are injured, it is literally slower for them to just heal one another than for one to finger their own ass and do nothing for 14 seconds while the other sets a boon totem, then either heal each other or self heal themselves.

The numbers on this perk is absurd. I pray it gets changed.

  6. I only really play survivor, besides when I play pig, yeah I think circle of healing is too strong. I originally thought that perk was only be allowed on one totem and every survivor has to use it

  7. Fuxing it would be making it 50 or 55% boost not affected by medkit
If snuffed gone forever for everyone that as the perk it seems rough? Thats normal, if the perk is op the nerf should be as hard and even like that she would be good not insanly op and meta but good

But that will never happen cuz we know where dev opinion are on killer main 🙂

  8. They should make diminishing returns on heals, if it goes above 100% (8s heal) it makes the rest of the bonus percentage and divides it by 4.

So in a case where you have Boon: CoH, We'll Make It, Desperate Measures, and Botany which would currently at full power give you 289% (around 2s I think?) It would give you 147.25% (around 6s I think) which is fast, but not faster than a basic attack

  9. this should not even be a discussion. OMG. How some people can be so blind and think that thats fair? Just the fact that that is on the PTB shows that the devs HAVE NO FUCKING IDEA WHAT THEYRE DOING. Seriously, im just wishing all the worst for dbd right now.. It was about time they knew what to do with the game and if after 5 years they still dont, im done. I'll be playing survivor only and hope queue times get stratospherical
