  1. The new dead hard is just actually working now for survivors, instead of using dead hard and being exhausted on the ground. After about 4-5 years of not working properly yeah it does suck getting robbed but you dont have a long cool down

  2. Cheaters actually have auto dead hard, so hit validation makes it so easy for people to cheat without being caught.
That's not a problem with dead hard, it's a problem with cheaters.

  3. almost everything in the game doesnt work 10% of the time because this game is ass Anyways Dead hard definitely didnt need a buff. Its actually mind boggling at this point they are CLEARLY catering to survivors Billy , Nurse , Wraith , And Spirit are all Flushed down the toilet right now. And instead of giving survivors a new objective they do the exact opposite and give Them boon totems to help them win while the killer has to keep finding them over and over.. The games officially done the Devs are Literally trolling us at this point by Buffing the best perk in the game..

  4. One of the most absurd clickbait titles I've ever seen. In my entire life. All you were missing was the thumbnail being full of bright red circles and arrows and some girls in bathing suits.

  5. Dead Hard hit validation is mechanically, objectively, unfair in certain circumstances.

For example, if The Nemesis whips a survivor using dead hard, it will connect ans execute all animations/audio files. However, the server counts it as a miss. However, however, if this occurs over a dropped pallet, the server does not allow the whip to break the pallet. Essentially, this means the server does not count the hit validation as a miss if aesthetic files are executed, and neither does it count it as a hit. Instead, the hit is acknowledged as hitting a survivor, but protects the survivor of any net change, while killers are punished as if they've missed, and yet it is punished to a greater degree than missing, entirely, as it cancels any possible killer net affect on the player or the environment. Basically, if a survivor uses dead hard, they are rewarded. If a survivor uses dead hard right as or within the same moment they are hit, they are protected ans the killer punished, and if a survivor uses dead hard after being hit, they are invulnerable for x amount of frames, protecting them, ans punishing the killer.

Scott jund is out here trying to say killers are just complaining because now they've got to deal with dead hard being broken for them, and that if survivors can put up with it for five years, killers can too, and that it just always counts as a regular miss with no extra effects "objectively," which is just untrue.

It's the biggest survivor crutch in the game, for better or for worse, but there's footage evidence to support the argument that it's mechanically unfair, not just strong. Besides the point, if something is broken for one side, then switches to being broken for the other instead, it doesn't solve the issue, it just transfers to who has to face it.

  6. What makes the whole dead hard situation worse is all the survivor mains abusing it. Ive been in more and more matches with everyone running dead hard…like it’s actually frustrating how many hits don’t register because of it.

  7. Dead hard is just fundamentally flawed with or without the server validation. Without it, exhausted on the ground which is just not fun making suvivors feel robbed. With validation, the perk makes killers get robbed of a hit that should connect. I dont even know how they could make it work fairly for both sides

  8. good to see the dead hard working now. considering the server is the one which decides if killer hits when dead-harding now, its finally fair. its just the terrible killers that are used to hitting even when survivors are in the middle of using dead hard that are crying about it.

  9. Head hard without "auto" hacks is basically a situational life saver for the 3 feet of distance you get at 250% movespeed along with the I frames… but nah unless you're a 5 head dead hard isn't bad at all. You can even counter dead hard for distance if you play the tile correctly to force an early dead hard where they can't make it to the window or pallet.

  10. I can see why killers are upset, but if the bug wasnt there for so long it wouldnt be as big of a deal. If "exhausted on the ground" wasnt a thing people wouldnt just use sprint burst to do what dead hard is supposed to do or only use it to get extra distance. The perk was meant to be a dodge but bc of hit validation basically kept it from doing that. For a very long time killers have been abusing a bug in the game and its gone now, sorry. BH does have to remove those hits and scream sounds tho thats pretty annoying.

  11. The second they “fixed” dead hard i have seen at least 100 players who i have hit who didnt go down because of dead hard

And then they rage quit like 3 seconds after i down them, the update just makes dc’s more prone and hit attacks missed, i hope they revert it or fix it some more since this feels worse than before

  12. worst part of new dead hard is that it forces a miss swing, it doesn't immediately sound like a problem but in situations where lunging would counter the dead hard, you will just miss swing and lose all momentum

  13. I get this was meant to be a fix, but the fact that bhvr's not put the time & effort into how this change would not only affect how hits would register like these have. But various killer powers as well, it's disheartening & unsurprising. Instead of taking the time to work out how the perk would be balanced against every killer's power, they tossed it out in this state, letting it breed animosity between killers & survivors. Great job as always guys,
