Making Survivors Choose Between 1 Shot Downs and Massive Regression | Dead by Daylight Killer Builds

Read more Dead by Daylight ➜ https://deadbydaylight.mgn.gg

This perk build is really dirty, and puts survivors in such a weird position where they have to choose between becoming exposed from dragon’s grip and risking the 1 shot down, or letting the gen regress massively from call of brine. A killer like Wraith can utilize this build extremely well, and it leads to a lot of weird mindgames and tough decisions for the survivors.

  1. Yeah, I use "kick the gen" builds sometimes, they're fun! 🙂 When I do it though I go all in, instead of Corrupt Intervention I'll use Eruption or Oppression instead. (Overcharge is in the same category too but it's a little too easy to hit its skill check so I don't bother using it unless I combo it with Unnerving Presence.) If you try this sort of build again try the Eruption or Oppression combo with it, kicks and regression all over the place!

  2. OhTofu i need to disagree with you hag is the killer that suffer the most because of boons, and in my opinion boons are strong but only because of totem spawns if totems spawns were design with boons in mind they would still be good but not super strong and annoying as it is

  3. Lmao that cracked out method of letting the other survivor find hatch doesn't even work anymore cause the hatch doesn't physically spawn until there's only one person in the trial

  4. I tested and the way Call of Brine and Survailence combos is that Call of brine takes priority over Survailence on the last gen you kicked but every other gen Survailence takes priority. It makes the combo worthless if you don't kick multiple gens.

  5. Can't believe that Call of Brine is just a Hexless Hex:Ruin. Like, what's the point of having a perk that can be destroyed when you can run this AND have perks that can synergise with it, like Overcharge or Pop?

  6. question for tofu regarding this build and the gen grab build video you put out the other day. how often is it that the builds you think are going to be amazing end up not working and the builds you think are going to be doggy doo end up being amazing or at least working well? im actually curious at this point haha

  7. It's getting really old to have like 10%+ of every game just be you sitting there talking about dead hard and waiting for people to use it. I think it's time you stop obsessing over it, because it's actually making your content hard to even want to watch.

  8. Ideas for Anti-Boon Perks:
    1. "Desecration" – For every Boon you snuff out gain a Token. Decrease radius of Boon coverage by 5%/10%/15% for each Token (maximum 5 Tokens).
    2. "Dumbstruck" – Whenever you snuff out a Boon, kick a Pallet, or open an empty locker, the last Survivor to interact with it is inflicted with Blindness, Incapacitated, and Oblivious for 3/4/5 Seconds. This Perk has a 60 Second Cooldown.

  9. I recommend Make Your Choice instead of Corrupt as Wraith with that gen aura addon. You can really monkey-wrench the first gen being worked on anyway, and MYC gives you another expose in-between Dragon's Grip cooldowns.

  10. My only big issue for boons is circle of healing, i don't mind the rest of them. It just feels like I can no longer play a killer like legion, because by the time i finish a good frenzy, 2 of the 4 survivors could already be healed to full. Makes weak killers weaker, and strong killers feel more okay to play again.

  11. The moment I saw Call of Brine I thought of a similar build for Wraith.
    Call of Brine
    Pop goes the weasel
    Thrilling tremors
    Dragon's Grip
Then take the two addons Purple Shadow Dance and Brown Serpent.
The gameplay goes something like this. Find survivor(s), down someone, pick them up and check what gens are being done with Thrilling, hook survivor which activates pop, go to gen and kick it activating Pop, Brine, and Dragon's Grip. Now they're in a lose/lose situation like in this video, touch the gen and get exposed or let it regress rapidly on top of the chunk taken out of it. Serpent will be used to come up to survivors on gens and scare them off it, kick it while cloaked, and instantly start chase and hit because you'll be uncloaked. Helps in chase too by cloaking prepallet drop and kicking the pallet then having a much shorter time to get a hit because of the instant uncloak.

  12. 4:43 and 5:18 .. I dont think Cybil was brave.. she didnt touched the first Gen you kicked because she thought you used Dragons Grip on it.. just like you thought also 😀 but it wasnt ready yet. She touched the second Gen because she thought Dragons Grip is on cooldown so the Gen is safe to tap. Actually you outplayed her there with 1000 IQ without realising it 😛

  13. I would trade out corrupt intervention with either Eruption or the Artist's Scourge hook perk, Can't think of the name for it. If you are gonna be kicking gens like you were in this video I believe you are gonna get some eruption value, maybe even get some incapacitated value. Also Scrouge hook: "The artist one" well it lets you know from the get go which gen has the most progress and gives you a few extra seconds to get there. So you know which one to go to for the POP value. I think running either one of those perks will make a huge difference.

  14. I think the solution to upstairs boons being overpowered is just to make the 24m radius a sphere rather than a cylinder. That way putting one upstairs will have a tiny radius downstairs, so killers still have to go out of their way… but so do survivors

  15. This perk combo would probably work even better with Eruption. It will explode the gen again and stop the people who jump on it after you begin the chase on someone else.
