Do Games Feel Better During SBMM Test 1? – Dead by Daylight

Read more Dead by Daylight ➜ https://deadbydaylight.mgn.gg

Dead by Daylight just implemented there new SBMM Testing so I figured we could play some games everyday to see what they have changed for that day! The first day of the test feels more chaotic with lots of randomness to the game which is a breath of fresh air. Most games were easier from my experience but there were still some tough ones and about one good survivor per game.
I hope you all are ready! Sit back and enjoy some Survivor massacre! Hope the dbd, dbd mobile Dead by daylight mobile, and dead by daylight crossplay communities all love the survivor gameplay and Rank 1 Wraith Gameplay!

  1. 28th was horrible hight mmr toxic bully survivors in 5 matches as killer but 29th was much easier and balanced 2 red ranks 2 normal players It was less sweaty and more balanced all my 8 matches.

  2. Day 1 I was mainly getting potato teammates. I went against a Baby Nurse who had the add on to see where she would blink. I ran her for a few minutes without ever being hit but it didn't matter because she had already face camped and tunneled the Laurie with two perks out of the game. My teammates were lasting a few seconds in chase.

  3. I think DBD should have 2 game modes. Ranked which is MMR and actual ranked gain. And then quick play which is MMR turned off and no rank gain. Only reason to play ranked is to get the 1,000,000 BPS for rank 1. But honestly who cares lol. I’d rather have more fun quicker games in quic play.

  4. Hey Red, I had an idea for a challenge that I don't think you've tried. Feel free to change around details, but since you've already done perkless with a ton of killers, you could try and do "The worst build", where you pick some of the least viable perks and try to get value out of them in the match. You can pick the least viable killer and add-ons if you are feeling brave!

  5. No mmr is much better than with it activated but it seems almost pointless when there are so many other problems in the game like 200 pallets on most maps, safe loops every 20ft away from eachother, boons and 4 items with 2 add-ons each being brought with a damn map offering. There is no such thing as a close casual match for killer, either you’re trying hard af or you get stomped. At least with about 75% of killers. This isn’t even including when you vs swfs w comms. Map size needs to be adjusted, pallets and loops need to be reworked or spaced out accordingly to the map, and swfs shouldn’t be allowed to abuse game mechanics to bully tf out of killers(spamming flashlights, body blocking into bottled time into dead hard while using breakout, outrunning killers by holding forward and t bagging at safe loops, etc). I’m a survivor main for the most part and I feel so bad for killers even with mmr being removed. This game is just so hard to play both sides consistently now… I love DBD but damn this game seems to be in a pretty bad state with all things considered.

  6. Played first few games on plague, was pretty ok.

After that played as hutress and my God I got into sweaty squad that exploited everything they could (including badham offering)
After that few games on Oni with the same badham offerings and one match ended in 5 minutes.

Out of total 6 games I played I got 4 on badham preschool. I can say for sure Its only became harder to as killer

  7. Day 1: I was definitely getting fast matches. I'd ready up as killer and get a game within 5-10 seconds. Not that that is incredibly unusual, but it was consistent throughout the night. Still a long wait for survivors though

Last night I'm not so sure: I think I only had one sweaty game. Sadly, on the other hand I might have brought the try-hard builds to survivors that were maybe less than prepared.

  8. Fuck me, my games have been much easier. Like, I was absolutely mopping the fucking floor with survivors all night and it didn't really feel like it was because I was good, just that they weren't. Every game felt like I was dealing with newer people, and I've been playing this game for a long time now. A couple games were really one sided, I was starting to feel bad. I don't know if I even want to use my bloody party streamers right now, I might end up killing them too fast. Now, I was also playing super fucking late at night, so it has dawned on me that might have been part of it. Still, I kinda feel like late at night is normally when I get all the ESports players and I totally eat shit. Although, I did see someone using Sprint Burst, which was honestly really refreshing and nice to see as opposed to Dead Hard every game. I was also able to actually really have fun and make a couple nice plays with Hag, which is a killer I've generally avoided using in the past.

  9. Bro my problem with the MMR is I just got it on the PC but I've play it for a long time on Xbox but I'm trying to get all the perks on my killers and I'm running in to red ranks while I'm in silver with like 2 purple perks and 2 green on my killers it's just not a fun time most games

  10. I played quite of few games as survivor on day 1 of testing. The first game I got was a clown who didn’t know how to hug loops effectively or how to throw bottles. Then he said I was cracked and probably cheating. The second game I had a legion who seemed brand new. We were on dead dawg and this legion tried mindgaming the main building by going around the entire building to try and cut people off. After these two games though we got experienced killers, but the games were fun. Day 1 was kind of a mixed bag.
