  1. Fucking baffled, man. If Stridor is such a busted, too good perk on Spirit, then how is it AT ALL logical to assume that this Spirit was bad? That perk alone would make up for her piss poor skills, the way some of you talk!

She was downing other survivors consistently and quickly. She didn’t loop like a chump against True. And yet when she makes one mistake by phasing too far through him as he’s crouched and reduced his noise…suddenly that means she’s awful garbage-tier shite. What does that make the other survivors, then?

  2. I'm a spirit main as a killer, but a survivor main overall.
Playing spirit, you learn how many things in her power are down to you interpreting information properly. Survivors that know how to manipulate the information they give off are much harder to track.
    This itself is counterplay.
People just don't want to listen.

  3. Indeed base killers aren't imbalanced. As you said gen speed to killer objective speed is imbalanced, so I believe maintaining imbalanced addons for killers is necessary to somewhat compete on an high level.

  4. I truly agree with all of your points but going against a good nurse that has experience and knows what they're doing is deadly and there isn't much to do against it

  5. The only lynchpin to this Spirit narrative, (and all the other killers people complain about,) is how common the 'good' ones are. You have no excuse to lose against an average Spirit.

I get it, some killers really hard to play against. And sometimes, just plain not fun, especially when you're used to running around M1 killers all game. That's something very valid to complain about, but is pretty different than the "COMPLETELY UNCOUNTERABLE, RUINING THE GAME," narrative you're trying to push.

  6. As a spirit main myself I can say that she is definitely counterplay-able but being honest the spirit in this video was not good. They obviously just had the perks and main another killer.

  7. I never complained that the killer is OP it's always that I messed up somehow. My objective is to get better at the game my problem is I'm on Xbox and the frame rates drop whenever you're marked or exposed. Which in turn makes it that much easier for the killer to get you. Love watching your games man!

  8. To show this video wasn't wasted, thank you Tru3, I'm one of the few that listened. I needed to see this. It's difficult to escape chase / phasing Spirit, you can, but won't always. You shouldn't be able to. I escaped chase twice vs a Spirit the other day, but was convinced it was only because she was Rank 13, therefore bad. But no, she kiled everyone else in chase (Red/Purple ranks) and even got me with a sweet mindgame close to hatch. She was good, and I made smart decisions to juke her. It's telling when Survivors say the Spirit was bad when they escaped…

  9. I've been doing perkless runs all day today because I had to use a backup account.
I will admit, i feel incredibly handicapped without dead hard, but its helped me in the long run going without.

  10. Spirit is a very very strong killer, but i get so sick of those people saying she takes no skill. Especially now everyone runs either iron will, spine chill or both.

  11. I showed this video to someone who said spirit is braindead and honestly watching your survivor and killer videos have been helping me to become better at the game. Majority of what you say is true especially the part where people refuse to learn the game and just call something broken because they dislike it.

  12. True your a smart guy and I respect your opinion, though I disagree with it on this. I think the irony here is that as I've seen you so wisely point out in a different video of yours, "people want a narrative that's consistent". And just as there are people who agree or believe the narrative that spirits ability has no counter play, there are also people who agree and believe your narrative that there is counterplay, because they prefer it. Just my two cents. And in happy to agree to disagree on this one not looking to start anything uncivil.
