We are trying to get value out of the dredges new killer perk called dissolution. We throw together a build for Legion as well as Pinhead to see if we can squeeze out some value and get any kind of judgement on whether the perk is any good or not.

  1. IMO, all perks that relying on other side to do something is inconsistent and unreliable.

    The indicator is giving too much information that can render the perk useless. You got hit and trapped in a jungle gym. For killers like clown, the best you should do is to play around it until pallet is kicked. But if you see the indicator, the best solution is hold w with speed boost, so that you next vault in other loop will keep the pallet intact.
    The worst case scenario, you can prevent wasting pallet if you are certainly going down

  2. The reason why Dissolution didn’t work with Legion’s frenzy with injured survivors is because you must make them lose a health state to activate it. So you don’t have to wait for them to be full health for it to work.

  3. I tested it with enduring + spirit fury on legion it's not bad but ultimately gimmicky. Like I hit them with frenzy then just stand under a pallet to get stunned then force them around the loop to force value baby.

    Again gimmicky but you can force value

  4. The fact that they know about it is value in itself because it forces them to play around it, it doesn’t need to be active to get value, like in the second game becuse it was active you forced the survivor to abandon the loop

  5. honestly shitty endfury for 1 perk is pretty good. It sucks that any decent survivor who sees it and knows about it can just decide to counter sometimes, although i have seen people really be able to force survs into staying at the pallet with clown which looks fun.

  6. Its ironically probably best for mid-range chase killers with short cooldowns on their powers like nemi, pyhead, huntress or artist maybe. Its not good for m1 killers but probably would be better if they simply increased the duration to something like 25 seconds. Mid-range killers can already zone out survivors with their short cooldowns so it shouldn't make it too strong on them.

  7. Props to that Chris on Ormond who couldn’t get picked up from the elevated bed (bug) after the DS so he crawled back to the floor to be picked up.

  8. How about a stealth killer like wraith? You sneak up on a full health survivor get a hit they run for 3 seconds to a pallet drop it you play the pallet they vault it they die. I feel the perk is niche but it has uses for certain builds or killers. I think any killers who injure easy like legion or plague is a bad idea because if they don’t heal you never get value so you should put it on killers who survivors REALLY want to heal against and I feel wraith is one of those killers.

  9. Dissolution is more of a mind-game Perk around thrown Pallets. Survivors getting hit with it (and notice it) are given three choices of poison to pick from on the fly:
    A – Fast vault, breaking a Pallet you don't want broken, and getting downed
    B – Normal vault and risk getting grabbed (or downed and the Killer kicks the Pallet themselves)
    C – Avoid the Pallet and risk getting downed in an open chase
    Play it deviously like Hex: Crowd Control, Hex: Blood Favour, or Bamboozle instead of aggressively like Spirit Fury. It's like playing Chess, not Monopoly.
