  1. If the Killer has an M2 that damages, and can significantly cut down chase time, then no STBFL is not worth. I only use it on killers like Trapper, Wraith, Doc, Hag, Pig, Clown, GF, and Slinger (Pig is an exception to my rule, because her M2 is trash). If the killer can avoid losing stacks that's great but less important imo.

It can be useful on Killers like Demo, Blight, and Wesker, but I think it gets ppl in the mindset of greeding for an m1, when an m2 was easily possible, which makes them miss or not attempt using their m2 which would've cut the chase down, or they could've had an equally short chase without it.

  2. How about we discuss his abysmal collision hitboxes?

I'm still getting caught on a god damn fence going perfectly straight down it

Or getting stuck in the side of cars.

How about how charging his power or putting it away takes forever?

Or how about how some loops are basically impossible to use his power on and make him a M1 powerless killer?

These are the discussions we should be having vs STBFL being good on Wesker lol

  3. I think stbfl is the qol perk, making game better.
I play wesker with stbfl(catch up faster) bamboozle(wasker power vault will block window too) dissolution(wesker can vault pallet make this perk strong) and one gen perk
Is it good to play, sure
is it THE bluid for wesker? probably not

  4. I noticed Scott’s been using brutal with wesker, and I used the perk with the killer as well, it feels like wesker gets the absolute best value out of brutal than any other killer due to his power. And just kicking gens faster is satisfying

  5. I agree with not running STB on him, but I completely disagree with your two reasons.

    1) There's no reason to use your M2 on someone that's already infected & injured. This means you're better off M1'ing at least once in any two-hit chase, if you're making a point to try to keep people infected (which you should be, yes, if possible). Once they're infected, infecting them MORE with a second M2 is pointless, as hooking them reverts them back to 50% infection anyway.

    2) His M2 is actually extremely easy to avoid being hit by, much like Hillbilly and Bubba M2's. In fact, even easier, since Wesker can't curve his dash, AND moves slowly while holding it, so literally running around a tree or a rock can hard-prevent being hit by M2. There are many cases where you lose a chase if you try to M2 them instead of M1'ing.

I think STB isn't great for Wesker simply because he needs other perks more. He has more weaknesses than strengths, and STB having to build up over time leaves him with much to desire.

I know most people are currently like, "Omg Wesker is so OP, wow wow OP OP," but higher MMR players already know that he's not that great. And that's the bracket I tend to have in mind when I talk about DBD, for obvious reasons.

  6. I run it on him because for some reason I find myself on wide open maps more often when I play wesker, so if I’m in a position where using the power would just toss them into nothing I’ll just hit them instead, obviously there’s other perks you can run that can work better but I’m a fan of stacking chase perks instead of slowdown, makes the game more fun for me

  7. I've found it to be pretty effective, but I feel like STBFL is a 'safe' perk that prepares you for the worst (any Coldwind map and other maps with really bad collision or loops), and allows more misplays with your power, otherwise, you really want to infect survivors as much as you can.

  8. 1 way to make this work is by using the cricket add on (forgot the name) the one that reduces the distance of when you grab someone and stop to throw, put on the yeet add on and you have a weird but good build of throwing people over slaming them which btw had a better recovery time and can make sbfl not only viable but very powerful as you can combo them from a throw into a m1

  9. The problem I have with using stbfl on wesker is how he can go straight into carrying a survivor which can be a detriment to gaining more stbfl stacks.

Personally I think anti breakout perks do better on him.
Iron grasp, agitation, starstruck mad grit.

All good perks that work because it puts survivors in danger solely for getting value out of your power
