Whoever was arguing with you about Corrupt Intervention seems a bit dense. "Would have been 3 gens done," but they don't understand that the game really didn't start at all until Corrupt was gone. So start the timer there and see how fast the gens go—that's how it would have been without Corrupt. And big surprise, I'm at 7 minutes and still 3 gens haven't been done.
Literally all it did was delay the start of the game.
sad that game not have global match timer limit, so sometimes when only 2 survivors left alive they become less brave and more stealth and in theory match can last infinite time if killer not have something that help to find survivors

Corrupt would have helped if you gone after the Claudette as everyone else played "smart" as you said and waited it out. You on the other hand, you played poorly by ignoring your only target twice. Funny, you are quick to point out missakes but not your own.
