  1. I think I would have said C33 in the past but I’ve seen a few Hens videos and him explaining his experiences on stream and I have to say I think MDR is the best add on in the game as moving that fast just gives the survivors absolutely no chance at counterplay even at comp level check out his newest video (at the time of writing this) to see what I mean

  2. i don't think so, besides tombstone piece the addons you've mentioned are all just strong addons for strong killers you're ranking the best addon relative to the strength of said killer so you're not really rankiing the best addon, a nice way to find out how strong an addons is is by asking yourself how much stronger does this addon make a killer by a certain % for example the mother daughter ring makes spirits ability 20% stronger etc. by using this logic i think the best addons are

(i don't use many addons so i'm only saying the addons that i personally find strong that i know about

    Ring Drawing
    Iridescent Tape
    Philly
    Barbs glasses

Ring drawing and iridescent tape are on here because it not only fixes sadako's core problems but when used together she becomes a problem
theoretically sadako is an extremely lethal killer but she has so many counters that she becomes weak, with ring drawing it punishes survivors for healing this by itself literally fulfills the role of some killers such as legion or plague while for sadako increasing her lethality through condemn. same thing with iridescent tape, it fixes sadako's counter through survivors carrying tapes, these addons alone can turn her from the weakest killer into one of the strongest.

Philly and barbs glasses are here for completely different reasons to ring drawing and iri tape, they're both here because they are extremely supportive and helpful addons while still being cheap, there's usually one addon like this for every killer but with ghost face and demo respectively it can help them out so much, the best part is scott jund can't disagree because he runs yellow coin and chalice on wesker basically every match

  3. Hear me out, mother daughter ring deafens you while phasing. So your only method of detection is your own wits, or the grass maybe if you got a good grassy map. You could also make C33 empty your charges on breaking a pallet. Alch ring gives you maybe… Two charges on hit, make it rewarding to people who don't need to pinball 5 times to get a hit. Tombstone just needs removed/reworked entirely.

  4. Honest to God, Myers needs a full rework. Completely remake his kit and add-ons. The dude is a relic of the first two years of DBD and hasn't had any notable changes in the entire game's lifespan.

  5. I think the way to nerf the Tombstone/Tombstone Piece without nerfing Myers himself is to make it so those two addons mess with his terror radius. Make it so Myers' terror radius is 32m in all 3 tiers and get rid of the undetectable status from tier 1. He no longer has stealth, and aware players would know that he's rocking a tombstone immediately.

  6. Tombstone piece. Getting rid of someone within the first 2 minutes of the game is incredibly powerful, and no other add-on can do it as efficiently as tombstone it doesn’t matter how slow myers is, it completely makes up for it plus extra

  7. It even baffles me how they released wesker, buffed (tried to fix) him in some ways that he needed, but still Nemesis is uber shit. Like, when you pick addons for nemesis you are thinking "okay what are the 2 least shit addons he has?". You shouldn't be picking addons based on how weak they are ffs. Sorry I just love nemesis and hate how he's so ignored. Even his "passive ability" (zombies) is random af, sometimes they are super useless and get stuck and still it seems BHVR ignores the killer completely. But hey, here's another feng pajama

  8. Honestly, I personally believe pinky finger is better.

Tunneling can suck even for killer if you don't do it in the right circumstances, while you're off chasing one guy three times, the other three survivors are on other gens. If you tunnel, by the time that guy is dead, it's not uncommon to be down two or three gens. Sure a 3v1 at three gens can sound good, but if you've not hooked anyone else once, it's pretty bad.

The reason I bring tunneling up in regard to tombstone, it's the same deal, think of the tombstone mori being three hooks on one survivor. By the time you get that mori, you'll probably be down three gens or so, with few if any hooks on anyone else.

Sure, it's stronger than tunneling, but it's the same outcome in the grand scheme of things.

The issue with tombstone, as well as tunneling as a strat, is that you're not creating adequate map pressure. Now this is just my opinion, but I think it's better to have 4 on death hook by 1 gen, than have one or two people dead and everyone else untouched.

This is why I raise you that pinky finger Clown is better. Clown is better than people give him credit for, at loops he is a menace, survivors will usually be forced to pallet vacuum with just one loop around if that.

He will create dead zones quickly, and windows aren't usually much of an issue for him either, he's strong at most loops, & very deadly at shack and most other windowed loops if you use both of his bottles correctly.

This is on top of an equivalent to infinite tier 3 without wasting time stalking.

Bottom line, if pinky was basekit, it's my opinion that Clown would be A-tier. Sure, he would still be weaker than Blight or Spirit with their add-ons, but do their add-ons really shoot them up like three tiers? I don't think so.

Of course this is subjective, and it's my opinion, but I think more in terms of how much the add-ons improve the killer, not how much the add-ons compare to other add-ons.

A mother daughter Spirit will always be better than Clown with pinky, but the fact that we can even compare those two killers who're leagues apart speaks to how much the pinky does for Clown.

This concludes my essay. Apologies if my Clown main biases have influenced me in some places.

TL;DR I just think that his iri add-on do more for him, than other add-ons do for Spirit, Blight, or Myers.

  9. What I like about the tombstone piece is that there is actually a lot of counter plays: Entering Lockers, Working on Gens, Vaults

What I don't like is that there is no real warning for the first survivor like how it was discussed in this video. The only solution that I can think of is to change the sound effect when entering T2 as a warning – make it more menacing.

  10. these add ons aren’t all that overpowered though? they’re strong but not enough to warrant a super nerf. also, spirit in the top 3? absolutely not. it feels like you just want any killer related thing to get nerfed but i haven’t seen you be nearly as vocal for the survivor side.

  11. I hate compound 33 as much as anyone but omg how tombstone piece has never been nerfed is beyond me, I spend enough time running myers at perma-T3 for 3 gens to pop while im injured and never been hit or hooked and he just grabs me and kills me instantly. I feel very rewarded by buying that much time for my team only to be sent back to the main menu. Fun addon.

  12. I would argue that the Black Incense from Plague is a contender. It's constant information throughout the entire game with no tell if they don't cleanse and if they do cleanse then you have corrupt, it's just a lose-lose for the survivors.

  13. What baffles me most of all about specifically tombstone piece effects still existing, is the devs removed moris and the ability to kill survivors super early because the game changed and they were no longer healthy in modern dbd. Killer add ons were mass reworked or nerfed and life went on, aside from tombstone, which lives on as myers personal mori to this day for literally no reason at all

  14. Here is the way I'd nerf them

MDR: Make it so she has to slowly build up speed instead of instantly going max speed, so it complements long phases but makes your shorter ones weaker

C33: Make the pallet break use another charge and take away 1 charge from him (or make the recharge slower) and it only applies the 3% slow on a normal rush instead of a lethal bounce

Alch ring: Only recharges 2 rushes so if you are able to hit them in 2 rushes then you can combo it

Tombstone: Different chase music, requires them to be hooked at least once, and stops you from going to T3 ever again in that match (for the iri one it wouldn't allow you to go to T3 after your first one has ended) BUT, you can also mori on grabs (though windows, pallets, gens, lockers, etc.). Maybe making his T2 TR bigger when it can still be in effect too if that's still not enough

  15. Another thing that makes tombstone piece the strongest addon that you didn't mention is the fact that the person it gets used on could have never even been stalked by Myers. You could have one oblivious teammate who just fed him stalk until he was 99'd and then he catches you off guard and you instantly die. The fact that your entire interaction with the killer all game can be a total of maybe 10 seconds is stupid. This is why Myers is so strong at the lower level where people don't pay as much attention or don't know how to counter tombstone. And even if you do know how to counter tombstone by going in locker or forcing a grab on a pallet he still gets a free down without having to chase. Of course good teams will still be able to win just because he has no real gen pressure but any killer who can end chases instantly or force a 3v1 situation so early just cause of one add on existing is insane
