Dead by Daylight is a multiplayer action/horror game where one player takes on the role of a brutal Killer and the other four play as Survivors.   1. I have a little conspiracy theory cooking, hear me out! It all relies on the skull in this teaser being part of the killer for the chapter. Based on that I believe the killer for "Tools of Torment" could possibly be an entity that appears briefly in Tome 10 known as "The Horror" It is described as "a mass of melded humanity and machine" which checks out. "The Horror" uses a flamethrower in its throat to 'unalive' a character in the Tome story. Leading me to believe the glowy thing in the skulls mouth could be said flamethrower. I don't have much more supporting my theory, due to how little information Im actually going off of lol, I might even have something that could debunk this little theory "The Horror" in Tome 10 is also described as having "several heads all shrieking battle cries in different languages" attached to "a patchwork of charred scraps from missiles, tanks, fighter jets, and nuclear submarines all bearing flags and strange logos of brands from different periods" There is nothing in this teaser that would suggest such elements would part of the killers design but anything is possible! Now that I read it again this could just become a future Dredge skin 😭. At the end of the day, this is just a silly theory I cooked up at 3am, so for the 2 people that read it, I hope you enjoyed reading.

  36. That looks pretty nice. And I think, a technical based killer would be a great new thing for this game. If this is a selfmade killer by Behaviour, I am really excited to see, what they come up with. They did such a pretty good job with the Dredge, so I wonder, what other ideas they have in their minds. I for myself could imagine a technical killer with some cool 'tools'. Maybe with some 'heat sense' as their special, so he can shortly see where survivors stumble around. Maybe he can use some kind of detectors like cameras or motions sensors. Maybe a trap he can put on the generators/lockers/gates. There are a lot of options to this. It can be everything from a crazy engineer to a human that put himself into the body of an android or human looking machine.
