  1. Pallets aren't viable if you are going against good survivors. Snares are the only way to shut down certain loops, if I see you have fake pallets I'm abusing any windows I find and dropping ones I know to be fake, or calling out fake pallets for my SWF. And teleport charge add-ons also work for fake teleports, so you can kinda spam it with both add-ons stacked. IMO his best add-ons are Pill Bottle, Masterpiece/Drawing, dresses, and Unicorn Block. Paint Brush is overrated and doesn't give the value you think it should for what it does, it's actually counterproductive to Freddy's kit.

  2. Freddy mains are some of the biggest Chad's there is, because of how trash Freddy is. They get into a game they know they're gonna hate, every match feels like a loss, their add-ons are mid at best, and they're playing as Freddy which is probably the biggest downside of all.

  3. The problems with fake pallets is that
    1. They rely on the survivors not remembering the areas that have no pallets anymore
    2. You can see the broken debris from the pallet on the ground, so they’re pretty easy to spot
    3. SWF’s completely destroy that playstyle

    The best use for them is they might throw off a survivor’s pathing, but the above average players won’t fall for them most of the time.

  4. They buffed Pop because 20% of current progress was absolute dogshit. Best case scenario it didn't save more than 15 seconds of a gen (didn't do the math, I suck at it, but it was abysmal regression anyway).
    Honestly, it wasn't even the number on Pop, it was the fact that it went from "total progress" to "current progress" which absolutely killed the perk. And I for one, am happy that it's back to being a good perk, because it's one the healthiest perks in the game, rewarding killers for getting hooks. It's up there with Surge imo

  5. I love the fake pallets for the thrill they give when a survivor pulls one down and it just bursts. There is nothing more satisfying than a survivor thinking they're save, and you show them how wrong they are. They are probably one of the weakest powers, but the most exciting to use when they work. They're part of what I like about the game, like with Doctor. Putting mind games into the power itself is so satisfying.

  6. Freddy should have an add-on (better yet, base kit) that causes intermittent hindered to survivors that are asleep;
    Survivors in the dream world become hindered for 5 seconds every 60 seconds.

  7. Bunch of issues with dream pallets, one of the ones I hate the most is that you cycle through your first placed pallets when you run out, not giving you the option of getting rid of them manually if you decide it's bad placement. SWF completely counters this power but there's at least some things to make it better.

    Prioritize placing pallets at locations where it's less important and had the least amount of traffic, preferably only one survivor ran through it. If you're playing at the cow tree pallet and replace it, that's absolutely a pallet that'll be called out and be remembered. If you place a pallet at a more simple loop that have three identical copies, even if it's called out, it'll be a bit harder to distinguish which one it is. Pretty much do what Tat is doing here and bulldoze through all of them and they'll be less sure of dropping or just running past the pallets, ideally they just keep running to "waste" more of your time.

    And yeah, I'd take Pop on Freddy, it was his go to when it was 25%, even when it was knocked down to 20 and now back to 30%, comparatively it's even stronger now since 25% then was 25% of 80 seconds, now you're getting 30% of 90 seconds so it's even stronger still.

    My preferred build for running pallets is Lethal Pursuer, Pop Goes the Weasel, Barbecue and Chili, and Brutal Strength. Add-ons being Prototype Claw, and Nancy's Sketch.

    Lethal lets you get in chase sooner to start burning pallets and extends the aura reading of Barbecue and Prototype Claw, Nancy's Sketch so that you can teleport a little more often with the two methods of aura reading, and Prototype Claw lets you see the aura of people who backtrack to throw your dream pallets.
