Next chapter is candy man or predator. Candy man is likely because he doesn’t have a map or surviver that would make sense for a full chapter release. Even if they did add Helen Lyle she would not be popular at all. Predator is self explanatory because we just got alien. I’ve seen a lot of people say they want Dutch as a surviver but he is not iconic enough to make the cut for a full chapter, just like Kirsty from hellraiser.

Some folks are so fixated on it that they're reading into every little detail, as shown in this video, and I think the constant "we want fnaf chapter" is getting ridiculous. Just try to enjoy what's there. They're working very hard to make the fan base happy by adding what licensed chapters they can. I feel like fnaf being in the DBD depends on the public reception of the fnaf movie. A lot of non fnaf fans think fnaf is some kids thing on YouTube kids. If the fnaf film establish s a tone that fits in with the original 3 games than I feel like we got a chance of seeing Springtrap in DBD. But if the film is in tone of security breach….

The teaser image should just be a collage of every single teaser that people thought involved FNAF with a hidden code in the collage that can somehow spell out "It's Me" or something like that. I never understood why there hasn't been a fnaf collab, the rights could be easily obtained because scott cawthon is very open minded and humble, and bhvr has managed to obtain good licenses like halloween, alien, nightmare on elm. street, etc. My theory is that they haven't thought of mechanics and gameplay for springtrap, which is undetstandable, like what coule be added to him? A vent system? We have alien and demogorgon. Cameras? This is a chasing game not point and click. The only mechanic that i see that it could be added to him are som sort of ghosts, or animatronics that wander around the map.

As a long-time fan of FNAF, I’ve really just given up hope of Springtrap, or any other character from the series for that matter, coming to the game at this point.
Does Springtrap fit in the killer roster based on the contents of his lore? Absolutely. Does FNAF, for all of the impact it’s had on the modern horror genre, deserve a spot in the “horror hall of fame”? Probably. The problem comes not from the mainline series of games but moreover from the community 💀 the FNAF fanbase is populated by so many children and so much cringeworthy bullshit that FNAF itself has come to be associated as the “funny YouTube Kids furry horror game”, an idea the franchise has sadly swung into in recent times what with Security Breach and the upcoming movie being PG13.
While other franchises in DBD like Resident Evil and Stranger Things aren’t fully “horror” either (they’ve both either committed moreso to action or sci-Fi), the difference is that those franchises are still suitably gory and violent at times, whereas current FNAF has none of that.
I am still thinking next chapter is probably gonna be Jason (tho I personally would love to never see him join the game). But I would love to see a fnaf chapter.

Power: Phantom Hallucination Passively charges throughout the game, getting a boost in charge with every gen completed. When full, the following Phantoms will spawn. Freddy (if a survivor states at him or runs into him they will scream), Mangle (drawn to noise and will inflict the hindered status effect aswel as telling Springtrap where they are) Balloon Boy (only spawns in lockers and will force survivors that open the locker to scream) and Foxy (fastest of them and when he sees a survivor he will run at them, forcing the survivor to scream and have the Exhausted status effect for 5 seconds).
Add-ons would most likely boost his passive charge or let him move faster after a Phantom does their specific ability with one letting each of the 4 Phantoms take one health state from a survivor one time.
Perks:
Mechanics knowledge: When a gen gets kicked, the next survivor to repair that gen will have repair speed reduced by 5/10/15 percent for the next 10 seconds
Scourge Hook: Faulty Wiring; When a survivor is rescued from the scourge hook, every gen that is not being worked on gets 3/4/5 percent of its current progression reduced
Hex: Design of madness; When a survivor gets hooked, gain a token (up to 5 max). The next time a survivor does a rushed action within 15/20/25 meters of you, use a token and gain haste for 2/4/6 seconds.
I think this would put him in a decent spot, not so OP that no one wants to face him but not too weak that no one wants to play him. Might wanna add, the Phantoms all make noise and will disappear for 20 seconds after they do what they do. Springtrap will have a normal terror radius before Phantom Hallucination is active and a smaller terror radius when active, he will move 4.2 m/s and will have nails coming from his hand to attack. His mori would most likely be him torturing the survivor. Obviously, this is my take on it and Behavior most likely wouldn't take anything from this if he does get put into the game but all we can do now is hope

It's been long teased so it's coming but it's a long process. They may just be held up in the movie atm and can't release it just yet.
