The skull merchant can be frustrating to go against, so this is my idea for a rework

  1. As I was making this video, BHVR announced that a rework for the skull merchant should be coming in the up coming PTB. I wonder how similar our ideas will 🤔. Ultimately I do hope they make the skull merchant fun because I started to really like her design while working on this video. Anyway, hope you enjoyed this video 🙂

  2. Whether something similar or completely different to your idea gets implemented, placing drones too close to gens should have a limit. Maybe like the Dredge or Artist's birds with hooks. Like a 12 meter range, so that it's not basically right next to the gen (that might be a lot I'm not sure how big the radius of drones is)

  3. I would like to remove exposed from her power and just give survivors hindered and killer haste for standing in drone radius for some time and problem solved. She has chase potential, i like hidden state that encourages survivors to think where a save loop is, and she has good info.

  4. All they gotta do is get rid of the huge obvious radar area visible to survivors. Make the drones silent, make her a stealth killer that can track everyone. People that are tagged get a collar thing shot at them automatically, same if they find the drone and disable it manually. People she can track are exposed, bam.

  5. I've been saying since day 1 she was going to get a rework. It wasn't even a matter of me calling it. It was just THAT obvious.
    How I would do it?
1- Make the drones patrol similar to the Nemesis zombies. It would give the drones more information over a spread area.
2- Give her a grappling hook that she can fire at walls and objects to quickly pull herself at high speeds.
These combined would not only give her more information from using her drones, but also allow her to actually USE said information, because as is she is too slow to properly patrol and apply pressure even knowing where her targets are.

  6. Remember that the "chess" merchant only lost to the best team in the game due to not taking the game seriously, listening to music instead of the game audio, and intentionally leaving chases that would have resulted in a quick down and game end so they could milk as much time taken as possible. Especially in the last fifteen minutes where several easy downs were ignored.
