  1. Why is Undone a bad perk? I think it comes down to 3 main reasons:

1 – The first and most obvious issue is that this perk does literally nothing if Survivors don't miss skillchecks before the endgame. Against most Killers that aren't Doctor, skillchecks are typically fairly easy to avoid for decent Survivors. Even if you do play against newer Survivors that miss skillchecks frequently, there's MANY perks that are way more punishing towards them than Undone.

2 – In terms of effect, Undone doesn't even come close to other regression and stalling perks that have far stronger effects (like Pop) or trigger more consistently (such as Deadlock). It doesn't matter how good the rest of your build is or how many times Survivors do miss skillchecks, it's almost guaranteed that you would be better off with a different 4th perk.

3 – The fact that Undone blocks the gen actually hurts its regression potential. For example, if you kick a gen with 9 stacks of Undone, you will inflict about ~8.1s worth of extra damage but also lose about ~2.25s because the blockage pauses the regression. This means that unless Survivors are trying to jump back into the gen immediately, the blockage serves basically no purpose other than to make the perk worse.

  2. Yes, I did the same Doc test but with a different build. I got max stacks twice in the same game along with using it with less stacks but it didn't really do much. The problem is that with any other killer it's lame at best but even with the strongest build around it it still sucks.

  3. i dont know whats up your Editing seems really weird in this Video. I know you have Editors who do this but it seems a bit too much. It was really distracting to have an Edit to every single Reaction you give.

  5. Not a huge fan of how this one was edited – the game was interesting, and the analysis was good, but the constant zooms on the screen and on the webcam kept breaking my spatial awareness and made it very difficult to track what was going on.

    Nonetheless, thanks for the video!

  6. Otz I genuinely love your channel, but I would like to give criticism on this new editing format on this video. I would just like to say that I’m not a fan of all of the zoom in closeups of the camera and perks.

  7. If they made the perk count towards that which aren’t great skill checks then both the consistency and effectiveness of the perk would increase and the loss of regression from the gen being blocked would help balance the oppression instead of being a full detriment.

  8. after reading the text i immediately came to the same conclusion i didnt even had to test it because its so obvious and its insanse how many useless perks exist in dbd

  9. Bad perk design: is dependent on other players game actions meaning you have very little control over it. Almost every other perk in the game the killer can use proactively or triggers more often, undone triggers rarely and you have no control over it. Yuck

  10. I feel like if you use doctor, run double calm addons, unnerving pressence, distressing, coulrophobia, and undone, and only use your blast early game, you'll get a lot more tokens for undone. This is probably the only way to get decent value out of it though.

  11. I did similar test with doctor when this perk came out and I found ONE reason this perk would be better than ANYTHING else.

And that is the fact that it blocks it for a short time. I found some situations where otherwise a survivor would tap the gen (now 5 sec) and would stop the regression, with this perk the survivors would leave because of the time they have to wait for it to unblock. And even then it only happened once or twice….

We appreciate your dedication to showing off all the new and cool things this game has to offer <3

  12. Damn, the person who is redacting Otz's videos should not make so much zoom-ins and echoing. It was kiiiinda funny a couple of times. But after 10th its just annoying as hell

  13. ok i'm gona make everyone one mad right now but… i don't think the perk is bad on doctor like otz said but if you have 30 tokens and have pop you can lose about 60% on a gen which is… huge to say the least
