I think some people are miserable and they lack the self awareness to unhook themselves from the 🎡 . I definitely reached that point before not to the point of shitting on others but feeling the game is not fun. I noticed that I gradually stopped picking it up until I quit back in 2022. Frankly, it helped me a lot. I needed a new lens to look at the game. I didn’t like the outcome I had when I played to win. Now, I play for different reasons and I only pick the game when I am chill. DBD isn’t the game to pick to destress. That’s my take. Coming from a stressful long day and picking it up won’t relax you. I deal with a lot irl and coming exhausted and stressed into the game, makes it less enjoyable. Especially with BM. You take things personally. I had times where I was tired and outsmarted by people who continuously BMed me. It felt horrible that I would stop playing after that game. I also was pushing myself to win when I was hardly keeping my eyes open! 🤣.. that was a mistake. Now, I play to my best abilities and don’t think much of the game outcome. I don’t want to win. I just want to have fun. That has changed the game for me. I am also enjoying all the other events too. I am one of the few who truly enjoyed the Masquerade because I truly didn’t care if it was fair. The concept was new and fun to me. I played the event queue from the beginning to the end. In fact, I am already missing it because playing with my regular build vs regular killer build is boring. I want the change! I want the chaos! Let’s hope they bring it back
People need to take a break if they start to get burnt out of anything, not just this game. Sometimes you need to spice up things up with variety in your life and also it’s good for your mental wellbeing to not be consumed by one thing indefinitely.
people act like they're held at gunpoint and HAVE to play dbd💀 if you're frustrated, stop playing
You are very patient. When somebody starts to rant like that I wish an excellent evening and I get out.
I don't play DBD but I see it in a bunch of games, where people get easily frustrated or burned out over a game. If a game starts to feel like a chore and not something you do to have fun – yeah maybe take a break or start a different hobby. Games are supposed to be fun and somewhat help you escape reality, if you get angry at not being able to do your dailies because other people are having fun, then what's even the point? Might as well do a 12 hour shift at your job. I promise it will have the same effect.
I bought this game in 2016 (beta), but I only have 1700 hours ingame… I take looooong breaks and play so casually.
It's these streamers from heck, that's why I lost in this ultra serious competitive game.
Hilarious how many people just play without having a single drop of fun, get mad at everything and then go like "The opponent didn't give me the win on a plate so it must be his fault" after a match.
The whole conversation felt like one guy ranting to two friends with one trying to help him while the other just agreeing and reinforcing his bad habits.
Ghostie was upset over you playing the game??? You did nothing toxic. I dont understand how people can get so upset overs perks being used that are part of the game.
Getting body blocked is always aweful, getting body blocked by a Bot even worse.
Also don't even think about winning, that means you're sweaty.
Cuh chillin
sable players lol they all share 1 braincell
that Feng bot won me over
People that take their frustration out on the next lobby are just weird. They did nothing wrong to you. If you're mad then take a 5 minute breather before queuing
I'm with you dude. We have such limited time on this planet. You should be filling that time with as much happiness as possible. If a game is making you unhappy, it's time to take a break and go do something else. The game will still be there when you get back.
I am a survivor main and ive been playing dbd since launch roughly. the way i percieve the game i like dbd as a whole. im unsure how many hours exactly i have on dbd but id have to say its at least 3-4k. for a good chunk of my time playing i seperated killer from player because typically each killer plays a bit differently. but now that there are 33 killers im starting to see patterns. but i still see the game similarly. im aware of toxic killers and angry killers. I do have my moments when I get made at some of the playstyles i see but i never direct my anger towards that player or hold the anger. I always still try to do my best towrds the team i never rage quit. But one thing about console we dont have end game chat. But even if we did id hardly use it. I can spend a lot of time playing and not get mad at the game. Like i said though, thats just me.
Ghost face could literally just say GG and… Get off the game. Or say nothing at all. If im having a bad game, i just get off the game and play again later.
Its not that big of a deal. I would like to win too but hey, we cant win them all and it doesn't help to be negative to other players.
😵
First time he stays to talk in End Game chat in forever, wins at chat. Cope GOAT
This is why no one can ever get along. You try to be friendly and you'll get brutalized in return.
I just had a game on RPD against Nemesis. He chased me into this very small room, and as soon as he hit me 2 other survivors fell through a hole in the ceiling into that same VERY small room. Unfortunately, even though it looks like I should be able to just run out one of the doors, Nemesis was somehow able to body block both doors and downed all of us. Nemesis is already massive but why is he able to body block an area TWICE his size? This is just one example of how this game can be so bad that you have to laugh. Understandably, you have to laugh OR it will make you cry. It is your choice.
"you dont game very much"
"I have over 10k hours in fact"
"interesting"
Okay, the man is also not callling everybody else shit lmao. And what does it have to do with the fact you can take a break from a game to avoid being burnt out? Sable is interesting ++
I was dying the whole time Sable stayed to make sure you didn't get hatch. I always wonder if that's specifically why they do that, just to be an ass. I really hope that GF comes to realize that something like a daily isn't worth this much mental anguish. Hopefully you got through to both of them at least a little.
Love your vids, look forward to the next one <3
I haven’t played DBD in going on 2 years now, cope is correct🤣
always great videos, should definitely spend more time talking about Jane though. kinda lost me after we stopped talking about Jane. hope you're well man.
The thing I don't understand is why make a video out of it 😂 dude was mad or whatever you were streaming we didn't need this
If everyone just played the game and didn't put expectations on how everyone else should play, we'd all have a much better time.
I can at least sympathise with the ghost face getting salty after losing even though the points they made were completely bonkers. But the sable is the type of player I despise… devil's advocate meets hypocrite
0:17 I have a theory about this. I think it's because this game, when compared to the other prominent asym horror games, is more "arcade" style: You load it, the matches are typically on the shorter side, the goal for either side to win is linear (until the hatch shows up), and then once complete, everyone is booted out of the server and you queue up for the next match immediately (if you want). The challenges help to change that a bit, but all they typically do is shift the single winning goal toward something else (ex: rather than just get a 4K, now you have to get a mori 4K). So, people play this game, get match after match of frustration, but continue to play it because of its quick, arcade-feel and with that comes the expectation – or hope – that the next match will be "the one."
If I'm being truly honest here: I don't know how they were saying you're wrong here. It became obvious to me that the guy loves this game so much and wants to be so good at something he loves, but randomly blamed streamers. I know you play in the AM so sobriety isn't a concern of mine even though 2nd and 3rd shifts are a thing. But he just seems too attached to wanting to be good at a game he loves. Luckily I don't have that issue because I can admit I play bad when I do, and I don't even play for anything other than fun. This video actually explains why I don't play comp or treat anything as such. I just want a fun life man.
Take a break if this game harm your health
I had serveral days (Bloodmoon and Anniversery Event) so much negativity that a break feel so good, play other game
I found love in Singleplayer Games im playing RE4 and FF7 Rebirth
my man is just raging a bit, and your grand standing with basic ideas wanting to be "correct" and then grand standing again with this video, pfft.

At this point it's not about taking this game seriously. GF was definitely frustrated by previous games, but y'all saying it's just a game to him is simply invalidating his feelings, something A LOT of players in dbd have gone through.
I feel bad for the GF. Granted he was frothing and being toxic for no reason, but if you read what he said and what got censored, he was told to unalive himself for just playing the game – something he paid money for, just as the toxic people did.
I think the ignorant attitude of people is not something one just have to accept and move on from, since it gives a lot of ammunition to these 5 year old bullies that have nothing better to do in life
Relatively new to this game (started in Blood Moon event) but I ran into this problem with Destiny 2.
I had played the game so much and exhausted myself in it chasing loot and challenges that were very annoying to get. On top of that I was getting team after team of either bad players (nothing against being bad/new, it's the starting line to getting good but at the time I was explicitly looking for people who knew what to do) or people who were blatantly toxic and also burnt out who chose to lash out the frustration. Couple that with the devs consistently making very odd development choices that directly impacted my playstyle over the course of the last year or so and a suite of systems designed for constant player retention and I was just dreading playing the game. But still I was logging in since it was "my game" and I was getting frustrated when I had a bad session. I love the game but I hated the time I spent in it, yknow? It was a chore and a habit, not a thing I was doing for fun.
So I took a six month break when the last Season before the new expansion (which was delayed) had its story wrap up. I just put the game down, didn't log into it or think about it for six months, and picked up some new games and got deeper into my Warhammer hobby to fill the space with something positive that I wasn't getting with Destiny 2.
And coming back six months later, that break made all the difference.
Unfortunately im at the stage where I know people want to watch dead by daylight and im a content creator so i feel stuck between a rock and a hard place in having to at least play it for a few hours to keep some of my community happy. I do love the game but it does feel very stale but i dont want to fully leave the game until i myself can keep a consistent viewer base i know would stay around specifically for me. Hope this makes sense & thank you for this video, always love them.
The only explanation to me is PTSD from real toxic players. They get only one real toxic survivor/killer and starts to project that feeling into everyone, same if they’re playing survivor. I started doing a bit of that on killers, because some people I don’t even know why they play killer. Swinging at you on the ground, hook hits, shaking their head on downs…like, you’re not the main character dude, it’s a game calm down. All of that to sometimes lose the game so what’s the point of that attitude? Then you find out most of these people are in their 30s living a sad life
