Everyone Leaves In Dead By Daylight

In player balance in Dead By Daylight has been a little off lately. A lot of people are disconnecting as soon as the other side gets any kind of advantage which makes playing and completing challenges very difficult. Has the game just become too hard?

  1. I played with a leon and sable who were together against a vecna and they both dc’d after being hooked back to back twice while me and my duo partner were trying to help them. Even I took a hook in the midst of the chaos lol

  2. This happens so much with survivors. Im a survivor main and it is MADDENING to end up the only human player because survivors DC on first down.
Killers, can you please prioritise killing the bots? Its just as miserable from our end.

  3. I tend to play intentionally nicely, even to my major detriment at times, and I STILL get ragequitters and people who cry in end game chat about me being sweaty.

I can intentionally ignore someone on death hook to go for someone fresh very obviously, even nodding at the death hook survivor, and still be called sweaty and such XD

Lucky for me I play on Epic so most people think im console and cant see their chats, so i can silently laugh at salt and they just assume im console, while if theyre nice i can say so and give em well wishes

  4. I've had a few survivors DC when I knock them down in the first 60 secs of the match. or they DC on first hook. I'm like bruh you used bps or one of the special event bp boosting items… I had a billy DC because he got stunned a few times. Very rarely do I have a killer DC when I play survivor there's almost always one DC. But I feel that's true for either side. I've only ever DC'd when my power has gone out. I'm usually a chill killer. As long a s you pet the dog.

  5. I quit quite often as killer personally i dont think there ahould be a penalty for killer as your giveing the survivors an automatic escape. And like its just not fun when your getting stomped as killer significantly worse in my opinion than getting tunneled becuse at least your three teammates could get out. What do you expect killers to do when they are faceing a wall picking someone up and you get a flashlight save at like a 90° angle? I feel like (especially when coming back after a break) to the game i am consistently paired up with survivors that are like 4x better than me so i quit. Getting destoeyed on killer just sucks its not even kinda fun and it feels like a waste of time meanwhile even if you lose a chase almost immediately you are still buying your teammate's time.

  6. I think its MMR being broken since i played today 3 matches and the first i got destroyed and then my next match i ace'd then the finak game it was another match i got destroyed on it just doesnt feel consistent atm

  7. I can understand why some players DC. I dont DC, but i get real frustrated when the Killer has a slugging or soft camping playstyle, and once players start DCing, i give up on hope of getting any generators done. There becomes literally NO POINT in playing because no one else is playing. I just give myself a quick hook death and move on to the next match. I will be unable to do anything else in a match with a bad killer and survivors dcing.

  8. As a killer main on iridescent 1 this is a problem even at bigger mmrs. Last night i was finishing the grind to iri 1 and of the 4 games i player 3 of then had bots. One of them had 2 of them. Survivors are instantly frustrated if they get 2 hooks. Even if most of the time is comoletely their fault. I hook someone. Leave the hook. Hook another person. And when i come back the first surv is not healed doing the gen closet to the hook he just got out. I'm sorry but if you are that bold i will definitely come for you

  9. I started playing the game as a survivor main and now I've been switching between survivor and killer and as killer I've noticed that a lot of people will DC on first or right after second hook as they're dying. Im not sure why, considering they:
    Lose all experience
    Lose all bloodpoints
Cant join a game for 1 minute (or more if its not the first time rage quitting)
Not even mentioning the fact that I've had people who DC and the bots version of them will escape second hook AND escape the trial 😂

  10. Honestly I think it is a mix of the maps being completely butchered on top of what type of killer is being played…that’s what I’ve noticed…cause girl I stay in my match every time even if I get tunneled or hate the killer I’m playing. Points are points lol

  11. I hate quitting so much I'm a killer main and I know how annoying a killer DC is so I try never to do it but I also do consistent 4 kill games and often on the second or third kill the rest just leave

  12. Its because of the removal of depiping and the lack of a DC penalty, theres basically no reason at all to play out a game that doesn't perfectly go your way, its pathetic when anyone does it and theres needs to be a penalty

  13. What baffles me is survivors who dc right as they die (for good, like the entity claws coming down) why would you willingly deal with the dc penalty when you could just wait like ten more seconds? It happens in like 1-5 games for me!

  14. I only rly play in a SWF nowadays but we only rly go next if we get Hawkin’s or a Killer we ALL genuinely hate (Flop Merchant) but we do have fun w/ it & just sort of rush the Killer.

If we have randoms, they either DC or give up on hook aGAINST A BUBBA OF ALL KILLERS. WE R ON RPD SABLE, IT IS LITERALLY SURVIVOR SIDED

  15. For me, if it's just one of those days, cause we've all been there. Killer or survivor, I'll just give up. My worst gripe is repeat killers, play who you want idc, but variety is awesome. Rather have variety than ghostface and legion for 5 hours.

  16. That has started because of removal of a rank system, which was replaced with hidden mmr which doesnt really do anything for you cuz, well – its hidden. Since badges only determine how many bp youll get on the 13th – there's no point in enduring an unpleasant match, if you can just give up and go next.
