  1. Jus look at what they did to the farm maps bruh it's so bad and looks more ugly. And look at haddonfield. It looked more like an actual town. The road wasn't as wide as it is in the new haddonfield. There were more houses. New haddonfield looks like a movie set. So much emptiness around the map.

  2. Coldwind has pretty good assets IMO, whatsoever, it's ilumination is pretty bad and takes you out of the vibe pretty soon on the match.

    I think a night/day time cycle could help most maps to feel diverse and more of a "nightmarish" experience, if devs played with lights colors more.

    Eyrie could feel as a cementary with a more groomy astheathic, but for example Lerys will look as you are on an urban exploration with a brighter setting.

  3. Yeah I agree with this a lot for the Coldwind case, although I think aesthetically I love the maps, it definitely doesn’t seem like it’s from a horror game. To play devils advocate: the Blackwater swamp maps, which are the only maps that haven’t been reworked yet that are a part of the older group of maps, look completely horrible and outdated. The fact they haven’t reworked them at all is pretty shocking since I thought they were definitely the ugliest maps in the game AND not scary ambient-ly.

  4. Nah, BHVR just make the basement lighting map wide. Yall have had this power the WHOLE TIME AND NEVER MADE THE MAPS LOOK THIS WAY?? Springfield actually looks like a Nightmare on Elm Street map, seeing the Red Forest sky and the luscious greens of the trees that don’t take away from the dreary atmosphere made me UVX irl.
