  2. I can't imagine many people complaining about Candyman getting added one day… but I also can't imagine many gettin mega hyped for Candyman either, just seems like a safe license to get one day.

  13. ive seen the candyman original movie but i still dont see why hes so overhyped and wanted in dbd. i feel like hes quite mediocre and there are far better options

  16. Candyman is essentially in the game. BHVR have stated plenty of times they want to reuse the mechanics they already have. so use nurses floating. turn the artists crows into bees, slow them down, with a max range, add either a build up or DoT effect. Thanks to the new movie tony todd's likeness is sort of in there along with other candymen, so you can license those out. It is obvious DBD would need to tweak him to feel different and unique. But I have a feeling people would love the killer and hate any urban map he might come with assuming they did one.

    Great video! It popped up on my recs. Since it was announced in 2021 that Amazon would be purchasing MGM and all its content, maybe its possible BHVR could've been in talks with MGM for Candyman license but couldn't seal a deal bc of this pending aquasition. Although its only the recent film MGM/Amazon own. Unless its the original film license BHVR want/need? Either way this would be a neat licensed killer addition.

  23. Man, I get that rampant, unchanging speculation can get pretty annoying, but did Scott really have to be so much of a dick about it? "That's fucking dumb," he says to one of the most meaningful well-loved slashers ever made. One that his fans obviously really love too. If he was saying it to something like Attack on Titan or Scooby-Doo, it would make more sense, but to do it to someone like Candyman that's both interesting and fits well, spitting right in the face of his own fans, is just douchey.

  26. The Candyman property definitely doesn't get as much love as it should. Tony Todd really brings that character to life. Could see some Doug Bradley levels of voice over work for the character if he was brought into the game.
