Welcome, friends and foes, Survivors and Killers. Today we’ll be taking a look at the Nightmare of Elm Street himself, Freddy Krueger, and investigating what went wrong in his implementation into DBD. We’ll be taking a peek at his remake characterisation and comparing it to how DBD presents him to really dissect what went wrong.

Got any suggestions for things you want me to discuss? Leave a comment and I’ll add it to my list!

  1. What changes would you prefer?

    Freddy can't attack awake survivors?
Survivors start the match already in dream realm?
    Alarm clocks removed?
Shorter period of time for survivors to fall asleep?
A new power to replace his environmental hazards?

I'm curious to know what you would do to make Freddy more faithful.

  2. Somthing tells me behaviour is scared to do a second rework because it would make them look bad or something. I always thought adding the sleeping timer and maybe the pallets to old Freddy would make him a still flawed if more powerful yet fatefully killer to the Freddy seen in both movies.

  3. I mained old Freddy and this was completely accurate. His old power was best described as “You’re in my world now not your world, I’ve got friends on the other side.”
