I’ve long awaited this day. These are my theories about the Alien chapter in Dead By Daylight. What are yours?

I dont think they can lay eggs
I personally want the xeno to have a wall/ceiling climbing ability (could be used to climb over loops in outdoor maps), and maybe have the eggs and facehuggers replace hooks.
I think the aliens main ability will be stealth. Hopefully alien will be our first killer to actually climb on walls and gain the undetectable status effect. I also think that he will have a secondary action to his power which will be the eggs. I hope that we get the opportunity to place them ourselves rather than have them randomly spawn in. I also don't think they'll have us control the face huggers, I think the face huggers will be an A.I type of thing, coupled with the same chase maneuver as the knights guards. That's being realistic, hopefully this killer has more creativity to it. I would love for the alien to also use its tail as a third add on to its power, where it can strike survivors over vaults or pallets, and possible toss them similar to Wesker's ability just minus the infection status effect. I've also been hearing ideas that the alien shouldn't have a terror radius and that instead survivors should be forced to grab motion trackers to know where it is at all times (which I think is fucking awesome, and it adds something new to the game). The last thing I think the alien should have is the ability to cocoon survivors in order for the chest burster to grow, a mechanic similar to that of pyramid head.
Hopefully they do justice to this killer and isn’t as lame as freddy or sadako.
So. Freaking. Excited. Maining Ripley for sure, but will definitely start queuing for Killer to main Xeno. And good lord the cosmetic possibilities. Would love a queen crown for the xeno and Grid from AVP.
I want to see Alien get a Part II like Resident Evil Chapter. The Atmosphere processor on LV-426 would make a good map. The alien will blend right in.
I hope its a mix of the Pig and Trapper where it can crouch and charge like her but place eggs that down like that trapper. I also think Ellen Ripley could be a survivor with most likely Amanda. I 100% expect one of her perks to be Get Away From Her, You Bitch!

Stealth, antiloop, and/or midrange attacks with tail are what im betting on. Face huggers are a maybe unless the eggs are already spawned in the match. A regular xeno wouldnt pull eggs out of its ass, if youve seen the movies youd know there's a mother alien that's responsible for the eggs.
for maps I would either think it will be the
1. nostromo
2. LV-426 hadley hope
3. LV-426 atmopshere progressor
4. LV-426 Xenomorph hive, maybe queen easter egg even
alien possible skins
1. BIg chap or also know as the drone
2. Warrior
3. Runner
4. Praetorian
Allot of people mention laying eggs or placing them. Ive been a huge fan of the franchise since i was a kid in the 90s, and played every game/ read every comic/ saw every movie. Ive never once seen a drone alien make eggs. The queen is the main source of eggs. A drone can morph into a queen under specific conditions, but this is dead by daylight that everything has to fit into. At most i can see eggs being pre placed in the map alredy. Also since its ellen ripley anf her cat involved with possibly the nostromo, this alien is likely based off the first movie, which was all stealth. Maybe ripley can come with a motion tracker perk
Honestly one of the biggest things I hope they do for the xenomorph is they make his ability or one of his abilities to get down on all fours and move it hyper-fast speeds with the possibility of being able to climb over walls but once he starts the action of climbing over the wall he has to complete the action and he can't cancel so the Survivor can go back through the window or on the other side of a pallet again.
I’m so excited for this new chapter, dbd is definitely at its peak right now, I love the game and I hope it never dies. hopefully we’ll eventually get Jason, Pennywise, and Springtrap but for now I’m super hyped about alien.

Good if they can include its blood as well. Only thing i could think is add ons or perk that allows u to say after two or three pallet stuns u spray blood on survivor injuryin them

if the map is in space i would love an easter egg when you look out a window to see the singularitys map the toba landing because it is in space and stuff
They had first person wall crawling in the AVP game from the Xbox 360 days, so it’s definitely possible and would probably be smoother now, the only issue is idt DBD maps are made for that, like I genuinely don’t see many times where wall crawling would be helpful considering most maps are wide open out door maps
we can expect nothing good, because it's not a good license. we can expect another skull merchant in november tho.
