Hey everyone, today we’re going to be ranking all 16 of the currently available realms in Dead by Daylight. Note, if you’re watching this past November of 2021, the Hawkins National Laboratory is no longer available. Rest in peace. I’m going to rank the realms kind of on everything. Their visuals, their balance, and general gameplay. If you disagree with any of my placements, be sure to drop your own rankings, down below. To rank the realms, we’re going to have four tiers. Lacking realms, average realms, good realms, and amazing realms. Let’s get into it.
Chapter 21.5 has been revealed and is named Hour of the Witch, featuring new survivor Mikaela Reid. Mikaela is bringing a new type of survivor perk named Boon perks, that can bless dull totems, turning them into Boon totems.

Haddonfield > RPD
I know many people have said this before but I wish Trickster had a map. I feel like his map would be vastly different compared to the rest of the maps, potentially having neon and bright colors and lots of lights. It'd be nice to have something different from the dark maps. Just some pops of color would be nice every once in a while, like the killer himself. Plus it'd be cool to have separate maps like one could be the center stage where he killed the audience or the studio where he heard the screams of his former band mates. It'd be cool.
will there be any changes on the map like decorations and whether a new map will come

The worst thing about Lampkin Lane is it is one of the worst maps for Shape. Our boy struggles on a lot of maps, but he really struggles on his very own one,
I think I might put RPD at the bottom of the list. I prefer Haddonfield over RPD.
And I'd but the swamp maps in the low tier. I hate swamp map games.
If the brightness on the Coldwind maps got turned down slightly I'd really like them as well. As it is right now you can barely see auras most of the time because things are so bright.
Yeah, I'd drop the Red Forest maps down one, they tend to be a bit too large.

Don’t understand how Midwich and dead Dawg are so high, they’re my two least favourite. Midwich is ugly as hell and dead Dawg is completely killer sided, with hardly any pallets to use.

I honestly love all the maps except for haddonfield and badham I despise these maps I used to hate or and but It’s grown on me over time

I'd love to see a window vault tier list. I know they are similar a lot of the time but the pallet break was similar
Maybe somewhere down along the line with further updates, but what about ranking chase music?
The pale rose is the worst map, it’s a pain for both killers and survivors. The boat is just a death trap for survivors without balanced landing and the map is just huge for killers. Some of the tiles are completely survivor sided and some of the tiles are completely killer sided. The map isn’t visually pleasing and seems so dull that I just sigh when I’ve loaded onto that map. I get it isn’t supposed to be nice but I just wish it took more of a left 4 dead 2 kinda swamp look, I can’t believe a 2009 can create a more eerie looking map than a game made in 2015.

Definitely disagree on Midwich, think it should be near where rpd is on the list, a faithful recreation but a Boring, slow, painful map for dbd in my opinion with not much going for it and and a lack of fluidity

My jaw dropped when i saw midwich as the first "good realm" when I tell you i SCREAMED-
MacMillan Estate is the best realm, no question.
Crotus Prenn and Coldwind both have some impressive visuals (i.e. inside the disturbed ward or the rancid abattoir) but I despise the lighting on both maps. They feel too bright for a game called Dead by Daylight.
Silent hill and the wild west is my A game maps mostly silent hill i know it well. Wish we had a left 4 dead map maybe no mercy or dark carnival or something maybe even the midnight riders or a outfit for jeff idk i just love left 4 dead and hate back 4 blood

I agree with a lot, but I will put Coldwind tremendously lower. With the Red Forest and Yamoaka Estate, I love them both visually. However, I will have to kick Red Forest down as I am a killer main…
Haddonfield does need a rework really badly because if how small the map feel's and how most of the house's arn't even open, it's feel clustered with the tight long ways and tall fences that don't feel right
Hawkins will be my favourite map as a killer, i will definitely miss this map
Dead dawg is definitely killer sided, i love this map as a killer and i hate as a survivor bcoz of many unsafe loops
I like dead dawg more than coal tower as a killer

Powers ranked based on how accurate they are to the killers lore? Or heck,Killers lore ranked in general!
I would love to see other maps for Gale of Glenvale and Ormond at some point. Also, when you think about it, if there's more maps per offering, it nerfs map offerings in general as long as the maps are balanced in general (A balanced Ormond would be pretty cool).
And, by the way, I still want a Neo Seoul type of realm for All Kill. That would top the list if done well. Fingers crossed they actually make one in the future once they run out of updates they can do for mid-chapters.

Raccoon City is weirdly balanced because the Survivors really have to make an effort to make saves. I find snowballing to be pretty easy.
Can we get a tier list for killer shoe size?
Is grave of grenvale new? I’ve played for a while now and haven’t played or heard of the map before
